Catherine's SCTV years are incredible. Just figured out she was the neurotic wife in Beetlejuice, one of my favorite movies. Just awesome.

One thing I love about her is she's so modest. When she was describing the Oscars gift basket, the subtext was not "Look what I got!" but rather, "Can you believe they gave all this to me?"

My ancestors settled in Canada and stayed for many generations until my grandparents emigrated to the USA. I have a feeling I would be a much nicer person had they stayed up north, doggonit.
