I have also noticed that with Join - I can also control the normal direction at creation or return and invert the normal direction arrow appropriately. You do have to make sure that the updating stays consistent for all subsequent geometry if any was created prior to your decision to invert.

Hey, can you make a video about surface normals control in NX? It would be nice to get some information about good practices and background theory regarding surface normals for all downstream actions. For example in NX (stability of trimming and blending) and pre-processing for simulation (CFD, FEA) I am about to create a model, which will be used for manufactoring, but also simulation in CFD and FEA. I want to create a stable model, which is editible with parameters and does not blow up because of weak links in the chain that represents my parts history. Maybe even a video about those weak links in your part's history might be interesting. You already mentioned breps in another video, but I would find it very interesting, which habits and workflows make for a very stable and editible surface model. Thank you for your videos!
