CATIA V6 | Industrial Design | 3DSketching with CATIA for Creative Designers 

My mind is quite simply BLOWN

I never seen anything like this is quite interesting.

This Program is CATIA Industrial Design V6 (the 3DSketching techno inside CATIA Industrial Design is called Natural Sketch)

I wish,if V6 is available for student license.The 3D natural sketching system is a revolution and I think,its isn't there in student's V5 edition.This is an excellent achievement in Commercially viable 3D sketching system.

Impressive but it's not really as fast as the video made it seem. The sketches and outlines were already created prior to the making of the video. Look at 3:50 in the file tree on the left and you can see several nodes listed like "Frontlights", "Grid", "Ext Shape", etc. He multi selects all the nodes from "NTS Line" to "Ext Shape" and un-hides them all with one click. That's why everything appeared at once and made it seem like all that geometry was generated with one click. Well it doesn't happen like that. All of that geometry was already created and was simply hidden from view. The click just made it visible. The only thing that was actually created in the 7min video is the one surface starting at 4:27. It only takes clicking on an icon and then selecting 4 curves to create. The 4 curves were create prior to making the video so...not very impressive. Clever marketing impresses those who've never used Catia. I've been using it for over 10 years.
