Go with a 100 cell count magnaflow metal race cat remember its illegal to run catless in every state.I looked at the depo racing down pipe that thing is beefy 4 inch 100 cell count going out through a 3 inch cat back you will pick up some nice TQ and a great price also.

The easiest way to fix this issue is to have a flex joint in it! There will be new exhaust systems and downpipes coming soon! Even for the Sonata N line!

No CEL with my downpipe. Im not completely sure why sxth is getting rid of the D.P., but I think part of why they’re discontinuing it is because of the Kona and Veloster N being killed off

Possibly so, no definite proof there but I can see their point thought. Titanium studs work well in most cases, but I feel like I’m the case of the downpipe being pulled on, I can see that Being an issue

If you don't have to pass emissions, anything with boost/tune should be catless. Also get a dragy and post some numbers!

I can see your point, but also catless performance vs high flow catted is so similar in performance , it’s really not noticeable until you start pushing higher boost numbers or run meth with these cars . I’ve been wanting to get a dragy for a while now but it’ll honestly be a waste, I don’t ever get a chance to get pulls from a dig in my area and I honestly only drive the car 2-3 days a week.

@@KonaNthusiast if you start doing upgrades it's a good way to track. Think of it as a investment. With the dragy overlay and a few launches/runs might help grow the channel!

@@execlon for sure, but NC is becoming SUPER strict with the car community, especially in the metro areas like Raleigh where I’m at. I can definitely get some 0-60 runs in, but 1/4 mile or 40-100, 60-130 runs on the street are near impossible to get away with. Probably the highway and that’s it lol. I’ll definitely get it someday but it’ll more than likely be something that’s saved for when the drag strip opens next year

@@KonaNthusiast I live out in the sticks, but have lots of random state police by me. They are so good they don't keep radar on they drive and flick on when they think someone going fast. But I have 2 good roads I go and get a run on and then leave. I have to say tracking my 60ft improvement has been most fun. And the random 1/4 run to make sure my trap speed is the same to know all is good.

@@KonaNthusiast That’s nice to hear! Sometimes when i’m running map 2 or 3 the jb4 will automatically knock down to map 0 while i’m pulling hard. Do i have to change the boost safety for it to stop doing this ?

@@hamzaaa23 yes, it has to do with the boost going over that safe point. I have mine set at 26 or 27 psi. But your car may not handle that well, I definitely recommend upgrading the fuel pump at some point, especially if you’re planing on upgrading your downpipe
