Welcome to the wonderful world of CATS!
In the past year I discovered an undying love for the musical numbers and found the performances to be so full of life and expression. Over the next couple of years I'd like to tackle a few animations of the characters. Once upon a time there was supposed to be an animation adaptation of the musical but the studio in charge of it shut down mid production and the world never got to see these cats moving in 2D. And in 2019 we got the abomination that is Cats 2019. So I'm making it for myself to see and if others like these as well then great!!

The Cats movie really should have been traditionally animated. It's literally the only way to make it work as a cohesive whole. Kudos to you for making it happen, and for having more imagination than Hollywood.

Except traditionally animating it would have gone against the author's wishes and broken the contract Webber made to get the rights to adapt the poems into a musical anyway.

As much as I'd love a traditional one, CGI is fine, but it needs to be HEAVILY stylized, and I mean HEAVY.

I don't know. I though that Mario never get a movie after they create weird adaptation in 1993. And yet if we get lucky we will get 3D Mario movie in next year. Now when I mention that it will be 30 years after that horrible Mario movie. What a coincidence.

Absolutely stunning!! The way you captured the spirit of these cats in the animation, they're so cheeky i loveit! The cats musical has always had a special place in my heart so seeing it so wonderfully animated after the fiasco that was cats 2019 is amazing to me, I can't wait for more

This animatic is, quite frankly, far superior when compared to Tom Hooper's disaster-piece of a travesty. You have shown that you understand who these two rapscallions are, the fact that in one minute (so far) you have told your audience that Mungojerrie and Rumpleteaser are real mischief makers for a pair of kittens through wonderful, thoughtful and brilliant character animation. The fact that you chose a more character suitable version of their titular track, the cheerful and up-tempo version, speaks volumes to your vision and skill.

I love this so much! Your style is so expressive and adorable, I absolutely love the motion in this! And it's the perfect amount of anthropomorphism for an animated version, especially the style of the feet and paws is so reminiscent how the legwarmers/handwarmers are trying to look like in the stage version ^^

This is great! Would love to see more of your style for these feline characters after having just (finally) watched the original film production (the good one from 1998). The playfulness and mischief in their movements and expressions comes across perfectly! XD

Ah when i learn that instead of an animated movie we got that abomination from 2019 my heart broke, this musical is PERFECT for an animated movie but nope the sleep paralysis demon it is... But this is so good! I love the animation and the expresions are so fun and it just looks amazing!

I always wished they could have cast Rob Paulsen and Tress Macneille to voice these two - if you can imagine Yakko and Dot Warner with Cockney accents, I think you've about got M and R nailed.
