There aren't cats with and without slit eyes. All cat eyes go from a slit to a circle depending on how much light they need to let in to their eyes to see. In a dark room their pupils are huge.

My bengal cat is the sweetest cat, she bites playfully, follows me everywhere I go (even the shower), sleeps all night without going around my apartment and loves everyone! I'm so lucky to have her!

Story time: I got an old Tabby named Pounce (he’s orange and adorable) and in 2019 we got a new dog, Loki. Loki was minding his own business, being a cute little puppy and Pounce came out of nowhere and hit him with a three piece. Moral of the story: Pounce liked to bully my puppy until my puppy got big
Cats just think they are superior lol I have two cats, both been with me their entire life and I'm telling you they're full of personality! each cat is different, likes different activities, food, toys and all that. But they play roughly.. so to you they sound and look aggressive but to them its just playing, they bite sometimes while playing but it doesn't hurt at all. Unless the cat really scared or threatened they won't harm you lmao.
I have a kitten who loves to bite. She was taken away from her mother too early, so I don’t think she realizes that biting hurts, cause sometimes she bites hard, but feels bad afterwards then likes you. But sometimes she just chooses chaos

I used to get worried about them when she bites them babies (cause she was rough with them) but now I understand that she taught them how to bite when playing and how to bite when they in danger. poor kitten you have, please be patient with her 💕
The environment that cats are in really dictates how they act actually if the are use to people always being playful and loud then they will be more hyper active
Cats are cool and as long as you treat them right. Don't kick them, or mess with them when they're not in the mood they are the nicest. My cats never hiss, scratch or bite ever. Not on purpose.
Bruh I've had my cat for 10 years, he's the laziest bum ever. I'm sitting here with him curled up in my lap sleeping, there's no way he's not the sweetest cat I've ever had. honestly, I think he's kind of spoiled. Idk what these other people be doing to their cats lmaoo, couldn't be me
My cat will give me warning that he wants to be left alone with a little bite that doesn't hurt. It's rare though. I think it depends on the owner, the cat, and the environment. My cat sits on demand, plays fetch, comes when called, and seems to be very in tune with when you want to be left alone or if you need comfort. P.s. When they blink or squint at you, it's a sign of affection.
I have two cats and they're so sweet, no bitting, no scratching, no hissing. They love to be hold, they love belly scratches. The one thing is that at night, they become crazy and run after each other around the house, bumping into things and I get so mad lol. But they were never agressive for one bit.
I've always had fairly well behaved cats. They've never been overly aggressive unless A) they're scared or B) there's an unfamiliar animal on their territory and they blame you. That being said, they do have very distinct personalities. My sister's cat figured out that the vents made smells go everywhere so if you made him mad, he'd pee in the vent so you *had* to smell it. My current cat's a little diva. She only wants your undivided attention when you're either playing a game or talking on the phone, and she will not give you a choice in the matter.
The cat biting the hair thing is something that my cat does to people. But he only does it to (and I'm not trying to be rude here) bleached, dry, damaged hair full of hair spray. I think it's like the crunchiness of it.

Some cats are just more primal, they stalk and play way more than other cats, some are more feral and prefer to be left alone and not touched. I have a Siamese that is more primal, he stalks everything and tries to hunt all our other animals. He sometimes make our husky mix cry when they play. But, when he’s done playing he’ll lay down and cuddle you for the next hour.
Most of these clips are not about bad cats but about bad owners. Cats are curious but can be trained not to climb certain areas but these owners are allowing their cats to misbehave so they can film it. The cats that bite or scratch people have been poorly trained or don’t want to be touched and the person is not paying attention to the obvious signals. NEVER touch animals without them seeing/smelling you first. It’s the quickest way to get injured otherwise. How to pet a cat: Slow approach in their eyesight Extend relaxed hand slowly to be sniffed for inspection Slowly move hand to head or back for gentle petting WATCH FOR: moving away, lashing tail, fur rising, ears lying flat, growling/hissing, showing teeth, swatting paws (with or without claws showing) If they scratch or bite - walk away now, don’t look or speak to them, ignore them but keep them in eyesight if they’re still agitated, do not continue to play with an aggressive animal - it encourages the behaviour
I don’t know about the rest of you but my cat is the nicest thing in the world. I’ve had her for like 6 years and she only ever scratched me on purpose like 6 times and that was all in the first 2 months🤷♂️my cat loves me
Cats are really just like old people. They just want to keep to theirselves and sleep all day. They are solitary animals and only want affection on their terms. Most of the issues arise when people are in their space, disturbing them or health issues. People just don’t take the time to understand cats and their behaviour
Dee, you can tell when a cat's playing by its tail as well. Also, aggressive cats are a reflection of their owner. Same as with dogs. Unless it's a stray that was abused.. I see people who hit their cats, spray them with water, laugh when the cat lashes out then call the cat evil etc. Cats need to be taken care of just as much as a dog and a lot of people dont get that bc cats are independent. They laugh when a cat does something bad then wonder why it doesn't stop (especially as kittens.. then when they get big and it actually hurts they wanna get mad). Cats are like people; every cat has a different temperament. They get to know you like a human would. Some are cuddly and sweet while some are more stern and skeptical. You have to earn a cat's trust. They are awesome companions and you can tell the crazy ones right off lol. They get a bad rep but they are so misunderstood. Cats have such personalities and are super smart. A lot of owners make the mistake of over stimulating their cats and that causes anxiety rather than happiness. And that's where the erradic behavior can stem from. Cats have certain needs and triggers.
Cats can get more frustrated when certain requirements aren't met. Some need places to "spy" or "observe" from. My brother's cat like the kitchen chair and peeked from under the table to see him come home from the front door. A friend's cat needed a high purch to see the who living area. Some cats (and dogs) need running/moving water rather than stagnant water. They won't drink it otherwise and that can be frustrating for them. Even when they have caring or well-meaning owners.
Unfortunately, alot of cat comps like these have stressed or annoyed cats. Cats are very particular animals, but it's common for people who get a cat to not fully understand the patience/consideration they take. Cats can have wide personalities and be _very_ affectionate and imprint on their owner, but they require time and respect. Dogs dont mind as much when they get messed with because they're pack animals who have social instinct and enjoy playing and interaction. But cats are more of a solitary breed who require space sometimes, and you may even have to let them come to you. But honestly, as someone who's owned cats most of her life, I still find it tricky to describe properly. Best answer I can give is that you'd have to own a cat yourself to truly understand what they're like and how they work different compared to a dog (the results are totally worth it though if you research beforehand and have patience with them)
Visited a friend years ago whose cat didn't like visitors. The cat jumped onto the arm of the sofaI was sitting on, walkee up to the back of the sofa then when it got near to me, it jumped off the Back and swiped at my face on mid air. I was both horrified and amazed.
Dogs are typically more passive. Cats have always had a killer instinct in them that dogs have never had. Because when it comes to wild cats and dogs, wild cats are far more vicious.
Their eyes change size because of the light! If it's bright they have eyes like the slits. Domestic cats are aggressive if they're messed with, or if they were feral and are taken in, and still getting used to the indoors. For people who have cats, we can tell from these cats body language that a lot of these video compilations are people turning the camera on after pissing their cats off so they can get a video, or the cat was put in a situation that triggers their fight or flight (there are shy cats, but if cats feel like they're in their own home territory they will most likely choose fight over flight to defend their space) especially the one where the cats tail was already puffed up (a sign they're scared or angry, they do it to make themselves look bigger and intimidating so they're left alone) and she reached her hand out to it. She was already fucking with that cat if it was already puffed up like that *edit** also dogs always feel like playing (not all dogs lol!) but cats choose when they feel like playing. Cats don't hunt humans, because were way too big to eat, but if you approach them with a cat toy, it triggers their hunting instinct (which is what we see when we say they are "playing"). When cats are "playing", they are actually hunting, which is why they don't react well when someone tries to get them to "play" by using their hands. If you try to just play with a cat who is sleeping, or busy doing something else, they give the warning bites or swipes, which really is more like just putting their teeth or claws ON you to tell you they're not interested, but if you keep trying they get irritated and will eventually bite or scratch. ....pushing stuff off the counter idk, though. they just do that, they like gravity and stuff.
If your cat is breaking things, pushing things of table tops, it usually means they aren't getting enough stimulation. They need to be let out or if it's an indoor cat, you need to play with them more. I have had many cats over the years growing up on a farm, none of them ever climbed on things and push things off.

Yeah, I think it's the environment the cat grows up in that affects them. There's also their individual personality. My cat has never bit me (I had her growing up for about 10-14 years) but has scratched me on accident a couple of times. Super loving and lazy, lowkey cat. My stepdad did try to play with her a lot & chase her, but she didn't really get pissed off, just went somewhere else in the house. Some cats' personalities are much more social, playful/energetic and curious. My friend's cat loves to go on walks/explore their backyard, zoom around the house and "talk" to visitors. If you want to adopt a cat, I think that's great. You just need to figure out it's personality first.. likes/dislikes. And maybe have it at your house for a trial period, if possible, before making any definite decisions.
I grew up with three cats. You just have to pay attention to their body language and their tail. Otherwise they are pretty low maintenance pets and don’t require much. It’s best to play with them so they get all their energy out, if you play with them that built up energy will turn into anger and that’s when they start being aggressive and like passive aggressive. You see the thing about cats is a lot of people assume they are just like dogs and treat they like dogs or any other pet but they are completely different they are not pack hunters like dogs and don't really have family for too long they are little hunters that descended from africa so if you treat them the wrong way they might be aggressive i had a cat he stayed away sometimes but as long as you were chillin he would come to you cats are cool as long as you treat them as what they are mini versions of bigger cats in the wild
Cats are super territorial with both their humans & homes.They also love to feel secure. So when a cat becomes aggressive for a long period of time something has invaded its territory or something has made it feel unsafe. The problem is that pet owners never stop to figure out what the issue is. Instead they think its hilarious & the cat is left in an uncomfortable environment
