Cats giving birth to kittens. 

I began watching this just to witness such a wonderful thing again but had no idea how exposed and tormented they would have her. I CAN'T CONTINUE TO WATCH!

You all in her "business" for the sake of a video! Give her some privacy and nature will handle the rest. Be supportive by being there just in case, but leave her alone. Lifting her leg is not going to make her deliver any faster. Just happened across this video! Good luck Mama Kitty! 🎉🌹

I’m into this vid a few minutes and I’m thinking back on all of the cats who have given birth in my home since I was a kid. My mom would put a nice clean box in a dark, quiet corner of the house, with very little traffic. Then we left her alone . I would check on her from time to time, but never tried to interfere with her progress unless of course she ever cried out in pain. She always knew I was close by. Cats have been delivering kittens for thousands upon thousands of years upon this planet and without ANY help from us meddling humans. They are perfectly capable. 😼

This guy got on my nerves with that camera I know where I'd like to shove it,leave the mum and babies alone give her a little water talk to her but DON'T try to pull baby out unless a problem arrives she knows what she's doing

You shouldn't be moving the first born kitten away from the mother. It needs to nurse. You shouldn't be messing with the mother at all. Shame on you for what you're putting this cat and her kittens through.

When animals are having thier babies ..human should leave them a long they like to be left a long so they can do what they have to do...that's why she is taking so long to have her babies cause humans are interfering....leave her be she will have them quicker.

Momma knows what she needs to do without humans constantly turning her around, moving kits away from her, etc. If she needed interference, Momma would let you know.

I’m seeing the cat saying; “go away dude, I got dis.” Sometimes messing with an animal giving birth can delay the natural progression of things. Dim the lights and leave her alone.

ma ma had 3 kittens and now at my house...if the dude keeps bothering her she may hide them as soon as she can...adding that other cat is just in the way....stupid is as stupid does...i hope the other cat craps in the guys shoe

Definitely leave the cat alone. She will naturally position herself for her comfort and that of her kittens. She has enough to deal with without worrying what the human is doing. Don't mess with mother nature

The cat should have given it’s own privacy. It was too much human interference in these private moments. Animals have their own way of doing things.

OMG! He's NOT "petting her" -- he's downward-stroking (+ FAST/assertively🙄😠), to "push" them out! POOR THING! Every time the hand makes contact, her upper leg lifts to compensate for the discomfort/PRESSURE...AND she swallows, as if nervously (she can't "assert herself" now). OK, I'm "out", TOO! God bless her for going through this (on top of the "usual" birthing pain + wanting to stop it all: ( "Happy, healthy lives, babies!!!!"🥰😘🙀😽

Sorry for the mom cat, I don't know if this is for education or viewer gain? You keep interfering and moving her around to get a better video shot, that seems not respectful to me. Think about this, if you're giving birth and someone moving you around to get a good filming position, especially on your private part, How would you feel? Animals are not object, they are sentience being.

I actually felt sorry for the cat you didn't give her one minute's peace she knows what she's doing she's a mommy and then you kept putting the other cat in with her how was she going to give those babies TLC when you were not leaving her alone that's a natural instinct for them to take care of their babies and you kept touching her and kept opening her legs leave her alone and let her do what comes naturally you are very intrusive. I always left my mama cat alone but she always knew I was near and when she wants you to touch her babies she will give you permission or she will bring them to you you don't do it on your own unless they are stressed you need to do better you're worried more about the pictures than you were your poor little baby kitty cat giving her new ones a peaceful delivery

My cat had babies on her own ! They were gorgeous and healthy, we didn’t have to help her at all! We were there just in case she needed help, but my cat did everything and it was perfect!nylsa❤

God gave all animals instincts God made sure female creatures knew how to give birth without anyone interfering or putting a camera in her face poor little momma she probably wanted this person to leave her alone!!! She knew exactly what to do, the person didn’t he was wiping her when she knew exactly what to do, the person was irritating and just plain intrusive. It’s monstrous the number of times this poor mother cat was moved and posed to serve the camera. This guy’s priority isn’t the well-being of the mother and babies; it’s the damned camera. Constant interfering and handling the baby does noting to help, and stresses the mother. The babies need to stay close to Mama to keep warm and to nurse. STOP pulling them away from her!

Ella porque está dando a luz y a no ser que se le complique, ya está bien que la observes, y el gatito porque han de estar con sus madres en cuanto nacen, nadie tiene que apartarlo, ellas ya saben como hacerlo para seguir dando a luz y protejer a sus pequeños a la vez. Pero eso de grabar queda bien, pues te doy un consejo si piensas continuar haciéndolo, en lugar de tocarla tanto déjala más a su aire que todo irá más rápido y para grabarla bien mueve el cesto, y deja a los gatitos.

No sé uds pero a mí parecer la gata se siente incómoda, x la presencia del q lo está filmando, no la deja en paz en vez de ayudarla la incómodo en su momento tan íntimo para la pobre felina si quería captar debería haberse puesto en una distancia prudencial y no ser visto x el animal además no se queda quieto distrae y no puede parir en absoluta calma

Why constantly move mamma cat around, massaging & lifting her legs, bringing in visitors, camera close ups? No need to increase her stress load. You're fortunate she didn't bite your fingers off... many humans wouldn't even think twice, if you attemoted to interfere with their birthing process lol. But then pulling away her newborns each time they were crawling to her, cleaning them with tissue.... why? They need their mamma for her milk, smell, warmth & to clean them as nature intended. If they have someone elses scent, mamma cat may not recognise them & abandon them. I'm sure you love your cats. And well done for capturing on camera. If you must film next time, I suggest 4 or 5 cameras (no flash) set up at different angles. Otherwise perhaps remain in the background & be there only if they need help & try to enjoy this wonderful experience live.

I totally agree with you handling the cat during labour is the worse thing you can do. Plus the mother wants a dark place to give birth in. Handling the newborn unless it is not breathing is another big no no. The video took importance over the cat’s needs. Tis a shame.

It is lovely this dear little Mumma-to-be has a nice clean, safe, & loving environment in which to bring her kittens into. The person comforting her is just what she needs, poor little thing. Hope she GETS SPAYED AS SOON AS BABIES ARE DELIVERED or is kept indoors until she can be spayed. (They can become pregnant 48 hrs after delivering kittens.) She is obviously just starting contractions. She looks a little confused poor little girl. She will have v.pretty kittens she is a pretty girl.
