My dad had a cat follow him home twice before, he's allergic but it was a little kitten following him home in the cold so he kept it! Cats are the best ♡
Lol I know exactly how that one lady feels. It's like they're so proud of their catch and you don't wanna burst their little bubble but there's also no way you're gonna let them bring that inside
Our neighbor's cat didn't hunt much because she was really small and timid. One day, she found a dead mouse and put it under our table as a gift. We leave our back door open in summer so she just walks in and out. She didn't kill it herself but wanted to bring us a gift. Apparently, she also did the SE by giving my neighbors as dead rabbit that was far too big for her to hunt. They just want to please because you're looking after them.
Mine would occasionally bring small snakes...in varying degrees of life. Both a live snake & a live mouse made it into the house. We were none too pleased.
@@echognomecal6742my cat brought in a live chipmunk for my husband to play with. I missed the show because I was at work, but it sounded like it was a goat rope.
0:29 I would like to say, that cats do this on instinct, it means they care about you. They hunt for you to take care of you. So congratulate them, thank them, and silently get rid of the dead animal.
I would punish/discourage the hunting of birds in regards to outdoor cats, and reward the hunting of invasive species like brown anole lizards and roaches
@@FharishAhmedPortfolioyou wouldn’t have said that if you were Australian, cats are invasive species and disrupt the ecosystem in many continents, such as Australia.
@@Willzilla DANG!!! You're telling me that the cats built ships and/or swam the vast oceans, just to declare war on the Emu population and lose?? Oh wait...
4:10, that is a VERY photogenic cat. Like, for real, he is the perfect amount of Fluffy & shortness all at the same time, and don’t even start with his smile.
@@canadianbutt275probably a bit winded from playing too much ^^ one of my cats would just run after the cat wand until she was panting like this, she just loved running
To all who are blessed to have a cat just know, I'm insanely jealous! I'm not allowed to have pets where I live. I had a ginger tabby who passed away. He was the love of my life.
Unless they just finished a long or tedious playing session. You can see it in big cats, too. They just stop and pant for awhile after chasing something down. But people should most definitely get their cat checked out by a vet if they start panting for no apparent reason.
@@ThatOneTherian1 ooh, that's a problem. If they start panting in heat, you need to cool them because they can't sweat so all they can do to regulate their heat is to pant when they are overheated.
People who own pets which might require crating. Like pets who have just returned from the vet or kittens who need to be acquainted and calm down in a new area
@@bunnykinssA pet carrier may be needed at times, but a wire bottom cage like that?! Not suitable for any species to be walking on wires! And as for the plastic bag of kibble in the cage- you don’t leave food in a temporary transport cage like that, nor in a plastic bag that can be chewed on or otherwise present a choking hazard!
@@averycheesypotato im aware of that, i used to own rodents and it would always irritate me when they would never cover the bottom of the cage since it would usually lead to infections and feet problems. I didnt really notice that at first in the video but yikes, i wouldnt keep a kitten in that carrier either. Though i feel like i still stand with my original point that sometimes animals should be kept in crates temporarily and not be judged for it online without people knowing the full story
@@BB-sq9vw The bottom of the cage is wire. You don’t keep animals in cages that don’t have smooth flooring. It’s painful at best, can trap body parts at worst
It can also be a symptom of heart disease. They literally can't catch their breath. You should only be concerned if they are panting when they haven't been playing and aren't stressed.
Sometimes they will, if said play has been a long session of jumping and running. Same as a human. Except cats don't sweat, so once they reach heat capacity, they can only pant. If a cat just walks up to you and is panting, though... That's when it's doctor time.
They also pant when they’re motion sick…. Learned this the hard way when visiting my sister, but we fixed it on the way back. Wanna know the secret? Keep the car cold. It also helps with human motion sickness, too
They allow a dog or no pets at all? Where I live I’m unable to have a pet at all unfortunately but I do wish I could BC I know it would help me mentally.
@@averagechadlegionary5824 None at all They have their own attachment issues, and think that if you never get attached and love, you'll never hurt. It sucks - I'm similar, a pet/friend/even family member would help me immensely in my life Closest I can get right now is visiting my best friend once in a while to love all over her two cats lol
@@prenimystic Same except it’s for my uncle instead who has a bunch of cats and a nice dog too. I hope you are eventually able to get a pet for yourself BC they really do help.
@@prenimystic as long as you're not really allergic, cats and dogs have been proven to extend your life span by reducing stress and increasing social bonding/serotonin levels, getting more active (esp with dogs). All pets will hurt eventually as their life span ends, but in the end you give them a good life (sometimes a second chance out of a kill shelter or streets) and in return you build good memories together.
That's cute that your cat watches TV and you even have a parent locked Disney plus profile for her ❤ Like, that's probably the cutest thing I've seen of 2023.
I f'ing love cats. Owning a cat is probably the single best thing anyone can do. Will supply endless hours of entertainemt and company and anyone can afford it
Some cats do. They’re simply panting to cool themselves down, as dogs do, it’s just seen as odd because it’s more common to see dogs panting. My own cat pants a lot, especially in summer, but doesn’t do so in winter.
@@DreadItself No, cats don't sweat through their mouths like dogs do. This cat doesn't look stressed though, so it could have just had a large bout of play/exercise!!!
@@DreadItselfCats only pant through their mouths when very overheated, sick, highly stressed or having exercised heavily. If it is a regular occurrence then you must look into the issue
@@DreadItself Hey if your cat pants a lot in the summer it might be overheating. Cats should not be panting at all. It could also be signs of stress or pain or sickness and shouldn't be overlooked.
4:16 i dont think that cat is okay… Cats normally do that when they are overheating or dehydrated if I remember correctly. If so, I hope the kitty is okay
Yeah that cat is not okay. Cats can pant when overheating, stressed, in pain, etc. A panting cat is never a good sign. I hope the cat is okay too :c its a shame people see it as cats acting like dogs .. a lot of people dont know that isnt the case at all
@@Shyguy5104 Yeah I guess your right! A cat, who normally SHOULDN’T be panting is completely alright! You’ve changed my vision and now it’s obvious the cat is completely alright! So don’t take the word of somebody who’s owned 12 cats in their life, listen to the random stranger on the internet. Makes perfect sense don’t it? I guess I need some veterinary advice don’t I? ¯\_( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)_/¯
I had a cat like this, he'd keep screaming like that and act pissed off until you were practically beating his rump 😂😂🤣🤣that cat loved being spanked it was the funniest thing, he literally went nuts over it. Coyotes got him one day tho ;(
Why the hell is that kitten in a cage with a wire bottom?! Putting a cat in a carrier for transport is one thing, but that cage is not suitable for any animal!
On the subject of cats in this video, one of my three cats, Milo is his name by the way, had literally did this like- really cute stretch at my mom with his paws..ALL. FREAKING. BEANS-
8:10 my cat likes to sleep in my room next to my parents while they watch tv. One time, while I was in the room, he started meowing loudly in his sleep, then woke up and immediately ran to me. I had to pet him and then he just went back to sleep. I don't know what happened but we like to imagine he had a nightmare about me.
This is 1/3 Cute as HELL Cats (that Christmas arranger lmao), 1/3 Tictok people being awful, and 1/3 People Not Understanding Why Cats are Doing a Basic Cat Thing and Being Condescending/Jerks. *THIS IS ALSO 100% Me Being Distracted from Work by Cats* aaaaaaa
I remember we had a cat once and my mum was bringing us home from school. We pulled into the driveway and the cat was chasing a mouse, and chased it near the car so my mum slowed down as she was pulling in. I'm hanging my head put the window to make sure the cat doesn't go under the car. Then the mouse dove under the car wheel. Bad timing. The mouse got totally crushed. Then i just see my cat sniff the crushed corpse and walk away, offended. I guess she was having fun with the mouse and we ruined it
Some of these people are tormenting these cats and then they wonder why they get bitten and scratched. Leave your cats hind end alone...it's their erogenous zone and drives them into a frenzy. STOP ABUSING THEM!
Did you know that mo matter how much uber cute cat is, they responsible for so many birds, reptile, insect species are extinct? To prevent that please keep majority of em indoor and neutered.
that's just nature a lot of species go instinct from getting hunted by other animals and even humans by now millions of animals have gone instinct and new species of animals will be found nature is strange eh?
You don’t know the health conditions they need. Maybe the people need to have it in cage just incase something’s wrong with it and they couldn’t take it to the vet at the moment. You never know what’s happening. You can’t assume the cat should get out of the cage cause it’s cute
1:07 is so funny!!! My cat does that to me! There wad one time where I was getting a water out of the fridge and the cat literally comes up behind me and bites me on the back of my leg!! I just wanted to get a water!!
People should have to take classes to own cats. Why was that kitten locked in that tiny cage with a bare bar floor? That is abusive. It was crying for help. And why was the cat allowed outside to kill songbirds? Birds have a hard enough time surviving without idiots allowing their cats to roam free to kill them. Cats should stay indoors where the wildlife, and the cats, can stay safe, We don't need a non-native animals to help us with a rodent problem in the 'burbs. That's what hawks, snakes, foxes and other wild native animals are for. I stopped watching this video after that. This is the last time I am going to intentionally watch something collected form Tictoc. I am afraid some fool will share something in the name of "funny" that I will never be able to unsee.
@@possuminshirt Yes, it's too common. What is your point? They are also an invasive species that should not be permitted into the wild to follow their hunting instincts. Taking animals into your care is a huge responsibility. It is irresponsible to continue to let them outside, unattended, to kill off native species that are not equipped to avoid these stealth machines.
Okay, I'd take that kitten in a heartbeat. 1st of all, he's cute and clearly affectionate. 2nd, being so far from his mom or owner is possibly a death sentence. So taking him could effectively save his life.
We would always lavish praise when our cats brought any sort of vermin, but would scold when birds were brought. Also sad when they'd bring snakes. Both a live snake & a live mouse made it into the house. We were none too pleased. Our littlest girl once brought home a rabbit 🤮😢...& kept bringing back parts, wanting to share her amazing meal. blergh! Still...darn impressive.

0:29 atleast her cat doesn’t come back with a dead rabbit with its butt ripped open on easter and then 4 months later he comes back with another one with its head chopped off
Although filming the cat is a bit weird what theyre doing is good, letting the cat sit down and relax is a good way to calm a cat down. Sometimes after cats exercise or play really hard they can start panting, what owners should do is let the cat calm down and relax and then start again after
@@bunnykinss A cat shouldnt be panting in general really. It would be concerning for a cat to consitently pant after playing a lot. We also have no idea if that cat had been playing at all. Only the owner would know and even then all panting cats should be treated with caution and kept a close eye on.
