Cats are amazing, like one time my mom told me she was working, and our cat Macchi/Macchiato deleted all the articles she had just spent 2 hours writing. Luckily she found a copy of the 1st one, but she did have to rewrite the whole 2nd one, which took 2 hours more. And when she finally finished, she found out she still had a copy of the 2nd one too, so she worked an extra 2 hours for literally nothing. She turned in both 2nd ones because extra work never hurt anyone.
One time my English teacher's cat somehow sent everyone into breakout rooms on Zoom by accident, then sent the letters t, h, i, n, g individually in chat. That was certainly an experience.
I have, during this video, continuously laughed so hard I started crying. Hearing and imagining Matt screaming in the microphone like a senile old man having a stroke is too funny to me.
Years ago I had a cat walk over the keyboard with a word document open. Wrote about two pages of gibberish, but on the first row she managed to write only "P0", center that line and make a line break, so it was very clear she intended this as the title of her work.
My friends cats once unlocked my ipad, put on youtube, and played gorillaz “feel good inc” while watching the screen intently. there was no keyboard involved in this story, but i still find this very intriguing.
@@ddylan4cats Alt codes? That would require the cat to somehow hit alt and type in the same sequence of numbers on the numpad a few times to do the same symbol over and over again. I'm guessing it used AltGr and held down a key
My old cat used to hate when I was on the computer instead of paying attention to him. Two specific instances I remember: - he sat on my keyboard and printed out an assignment that I had only half finished and - while on a zoom class, he somehow managed to unmute the mic, purr directly into it, and then shut down my computer before I could even explain myself
@@pizzaluigi647 Don't worry I don't have some weird "cats will take over the world" conspiracy lmao, I just meant they know exactly what they're doing.
I feel like cats are trying to urgently tell us in thier own written language but we don’t understand and think haha what a funny cat while the cat is telling us the dark maker is coming
We always joked that one of our cats was an undercover Russian hacker because he managed to type an omega symbol on my dad’s computer. He would also make the computer make a bunch of weird clicking noises that definitely weren’t the keys. Rest in peace Bucky, you were the best national security threat we ever knew.
My cat thinks my laptop keyboard is her bed. She usually ends up looking up a random string of letters that gets defined as a programming language, and one time looked up the hex code for the color I named her after. She also once deleted a document containing the coordinates of my Minecraft builds, and I had to go on an adventure to re-find them
An idea just struck me, might I suggest a Minecraft journal? It would be much easier to keep track of then a loose sheet of paper, and it could also serve as a plus for sketching building ideas. Shoot, I just might have to do this for myself!
@@Feathers176 Probably a mix of being the right size for them to fit on top of, and them associating it with their owners. My cat probably also mixes in the fact that my laptop is the highest place in my room, and she likes being able to look down on people.
My friend's mom's old cat managed to type a completely coherent email telling my friend's mom's friend that she was going out somewhere. It was definitely interesting.
@@Nat_the_Chicken Maybe but even then, it's weird for it to be completely coherent. The odds of randomly typing words that get corrected or suggested that way are very low.
@@Shugunou Depends how often you type the same sentences into Gmail. I've definitely had it suggest the entire sentence I was about to type from a few letters (on mobile, that is).
I think this is just proof cats are smarter than we think. One was learning the alphabet, another made a dick joke, and some of them are writing sentences.
And one is a fan of Gotham. Now imagine if you try to watch a serious crime drama, superhero movie, or documentary, then all of the sudden, your cat switched to Dora the Explorer or PAW Patrol and turned the volume too high.
Look, I know everyone loves the cats, but can we PLEASE appreciate Matt reading Danganronpa fanfic and how enthusiastically he pronounces Kokichi OOMAH’s name? 😂
One time, as a bit, I kept Frog Fractions open on my PC for a solid MONTH, just to both make a very silly Steam review and also ask friends how to close Frog Fractions. It was around just over the 1,000 hour mark that my family adopted a cat, and he's adorable and I love him and he's my nocturnal buddy, but ALSO one of the first things he did was jump right on my keyboard and hit a "Sleep mode" key I both didn't know existed, and didn't know how to close. I had to reboot the PC. If anyone ever asks, if you want to know how to close Frog Fractions... adopt a cat.
When I see some of these posts my brain automatically goes to the idea that the cat carefully selected the things they typed or opened instead of walking across the entire keyboard, and I'm just imagining a cat opening the dictionary app, searching "B," pausing thoughtfully with a paw to its face, and then deleting it and searching "V" before nodding determinedly.
Matt Rose, thank you for making me laugh in all of the best ways possible when I am down. Seriously, it has helped me so much. Video idea: Reading out funny license plates OR people walking in on you saying something out of context
I once saw a picture of someone's pottery from ancient times with a cat paw print on it. I love to think that in a lot of ways, nothing has changed. It's so cute, funny, and gives me a sense of peace.
If the person has more than one device, it's more easy than you'd think, I once accidentally rickrolled my mum by simply casting my phone to the living room TV when she was watching a movie on streaming
Our cat prefers the computer tower to the keyboard. While this avoids the chaos showcased in this video, it does mean she can occasionally sit on the power button and turn the entire computer off
I once asked my students (English as a foreign language) "Are you a cat person or a dog person? For example, I am a cat person." and one said "I know. Your cat is crazy. He's always running behind you in your videos." But I did get a lot of respect from my students the other day when I showed them a video of my cat sitting, giving paw, spinning, lying down, rolling over and jumping on command.
My cats have so far have - opened Netflix while I wanted to work on a presentation - added 100 slides to my PowerPoint - turned the Wi-Fi off - texted my brother a + bc she was high on peppermint oil which I used against my headache - typed something on a document for some group work, possibly messing up the formatting One of them also has to sit next to me when I’m on a zoom call or working with my group on teams.
I love this so much. My cat gets on my computer at least once a day - his favorite is making the narrator say "make your computer easier to use" repeatedly (understandable, it's easier to use without a cat on it), opening 10 calculators, zooming in 500%, turning off my touchpad mouse, and turning off my keyboard altogether so I have to just turn the computer off and on again.
One time my cat ran through my keyboard and sent a messege to a school group chat with the principal. It was total nonsense and she said something in style of "Oh I thought they were some signs of youth" after i said my cat sent it
I remember during online classes in lockdown, so many people were screaminh gibberish into the chat because their cats kept stepping on the keyboards. I don't have a cat and I dropped something on my keyboard instead and accidentally said to the chat "uiop" I didn't ever speak as well so it must have come across as really odd that the first thing I said after months was uiop. Of course, it doesn't really matter because uiop is a normal sound that humans make.
this is why im subbed hes too funny when he reads out gibberish and when he does the SKULL E-MO-JI thing and when he makes jokes and finally when he just reads them out
I have a strong feeling that Matt is a cat in disguise using an ai voice to read, which is why he knows exactly how to pronounce the cat’s foreign language
Hi, I had a rough day, and this literally had me sobbing with laughter. A bit unsettling, but I think it helped work off some of the negative energy left over, so thank you for that.
My 5 cats are hilarious! My cats names(all females by the way) Emma Amethyst Rosie Rose Angelene. So far these things has happened EVERYDAY. 1 - Angelene somehow managed to turn off the Wi-fi off “on purpose accident” and just walks away as nothing happened. 2 - Rose managed to ONCE SHUT DOWN THE ELECTRICITY generator down in the basement! But the most things she does is trip things over (not breakable things) 3 - Rosie sometimes just manages to jump on top of things that can fall off if something is on top- still managed to stay up there. NOT UNTIL SHE JUMPED- She broke my mom’s favourite vase. 4 - Emma sometimes (almost every day) walks across my keyboard while I’m playing games- Managed to open up the chat and sometimes say “Hie” “AZEUNEE WE KNEES” “Fackes” “Clit” “Pappodiehdimbiteh” ONCE TYPED BITCH WITHOUT ANY NOTICE- 5 - Amethyst somehow “accidentally” purposely manages to just stare at the ceiling light and just ends up getting it down- Luckily those lamps aren’t breakable.
My cat walked on my keyboard, opened, what I can only guess was a thousand tabs that didn't load, and crashed my computer. Thankfully he didn't blue screen killed it
My cat once walked across the keyboard after I had gone off to work. He took it out of sleepmode and typed "$6" to my group chat and everyone, a group of about 12 people at the time, also typed "$6" in an unbroken combo. Edit: It's happening again! I really should have seen this coming, lmao.
