you’re scarily good at conveying emotions in your animations, they have an almost surreal quality to them with the contrast between the very cute art style and the dark turn that the actual animations sometimes take. it’s something totally unique and super cool to see :D
when I first saw this animation, it scared me a lot because the cat knew that he didn’t have long to die. at the same time, he tried to be more positive, but loneliness broke him. this is probably my biggest fear
Let's stop talking about premiere for a sec, can we just quickly process the fact that the cat just committed suicide by taking off their helmet in space?
Explanation: this cat (I saw some one call her crumb so we’ll call her crumb) launched up into space. As soon as she got onto mars, earth blew up, leaving her stranded at mars. She was of course very sad, but she got over it quite quickly. At first, it was fun. She drew some pictures and ate some food. But overtime, it got worse and worse and she got sadder and angrier as time went on. Eventually, crumb couldn’t take it and she.. well you know.
am i waiting for 14 hours to see ‘cats on mars’ by crumb, which will inevitably destroy my sleep schedule and require me to drink three cups of coffee? *yes, yes i am.*
The cat find a girl :cat then he draws the future and he goes to the other space estacion finding out that the :cat was actually a boy, the cat then bites the :cat but the :cat wanted to play with the cat and all happy
tfw you are in space and you're a cowboy looking for quick cash, followed by a 13 year old prodigy, some girl named after a us holiday, and some amputee(don't forget the corgi)
That’s literally me just unfazed by everything scary- Like, it’s very hard for you to get me scared dude. Well, I gotta go now, I’ll see you soon.. -Saihara Shuichi
For those who dont understand : so basically what happend is that the cyan cat went to mars [idk why] and then suddenly the world ends while he is in space and then he relizes his freind [the orange cat] is in another space ship and he couldn't contact him bcuz you know. The world ended. And then after many days of lonliness and starving.. he faced a terrible fate:(
Can we all just agree that this concept is terrifying beyond belief, not just the idea of everyone except you dying simultaneously but also the psychological torment that happens afterward. First everyone and everything youve ever known dies at the same time and you dont have any proper time to grief let along try to grasp the concept. Youre so busy trying to stay alive you never have time to process anything and so you distract yourself with cute little drawings, food and memories and then it finally hits you. Your body being in such a uniquely terrible situation, processes your feeling in the completely incorrect way and you have severe mood swings and then finally end your suffering.
Every time I watch this I get eerie feeling of dread. It feels like depression. The thought of no happy ending. I can't even describe the feeling with only words.
Its like you go do something exiting but end up getting stuck in that same thing for the rest of your life so it turns all boring and numb, reminds me of white space from omori, not a place to live but a place to survive, like a rollercoaster without thrill
Actually death via space is extremely painful as the water in your blood boils inside you and pops your eyes from the inside and that is not including the depressurization of the suit so no, she choose the painful way out.
Idk what’s so disturbing about this, but it just makes me have this sinking feeling in my chest, like the earth actually exploded, leaving me alone. I’m pretty sure it’s the happy music or the static at the end
In short, not so short, the cat goes to the moon, everything normal, but as soon as it looks at the earth, it explodes. the boy goes into a "panic" and he tries to pretend that nothing happened, drawing rainbows and cats on the main panel of his ship, pretending that everything is still happy. but, there comes a point where the little one gets angry at living the same EVERY day, tearing up his drawings and so on, and he goes into a kind of despair, and not only that, but on the 12th he runs out of food, leaving him without food to recover energy. He didn't even have food anymore, he was alone, he knew the truth, they were all dead, and desperate and sad to get out of that, he ends up committing suicide, taking off his helmet outside the ship, losing his life in the attempt. It's amazing how just a small detail can change someone so much, don't you think?
The sad part is that most people in this comment section don't know that this song came from a beloved anime, Cowboy Bebop. God this song still gives me the chills. "See you cowgirl, someday, somewhere!"
Watched the show for the first time just at the end of February and heard the song and went “WAIT THIS IS FROM COWBOY BEBOP?” 10/10 show though, first anime I ever enjoyed, this weight sure hurts to carry though
People who don't know who hes relating to A channel that has a repitation for stupidly complicated things but dum it down for our sake Put me in the r/wooosh i do not care Hi me
as a kurzgesagt fan, the ending depends on the subject if it gives you a existential crisis, the ending might be sad but if it’s cool then it wont be sad
