I played the previous title and i had no idea they were releasing a second. The first one was already really entertaining and had me addicted lol. This one seems like it has features i wish were in the first. Definitely worth playing imo if you like story/farming offline games. Very chill, funny and you dont have to wait for nothing. You can just go and do your thing. Might even be competing with animal crossing on my tier list.

@gianfailla6497 you've got the right vibes then. It reminded me of stardew valley as well when playing it. But cattails has more of a story than sv does, at least the first part. Seems like this one is getting a story as well!

The studio behind Cat Tails actually worked on a Warriors fangame over a decade ago called Warriors Untold Tales! It's basically the precursor to Cat Tails!

Apparently, this is a sequel (?), but I never even heard about the first one. It's too bad - I read a number of the "Warriors" series by Erin Hunter when I was younger, and I feel like this has a similar flavor, so I would probably have enjoyed it on that basis alone. I'll have to look into both!

Saw this trailer a couple days ago and thought I’d buy the first one just to see what it was all about because I love cats and the Warriors books. I’m currently obsessed with it and I’m planning to get Wildwood soon!

The cat movements look so amateur. I mean, they almost look like they're gliding (or hovering) instead of walking. They should have tried making their legs look more like they're moving as they walk.

It’s not mid… it’s a good game and not a roleplay game either, it’s a cozy game that derives from a warriors fan game (Untold tales). It’s not meant to be a roleplay game, don’t compare a Roblox game with horrible devs (the main dev is racist) to a game made with only 2 developers and help from others. (Ps. I’m a kickstarter backer and have played Cattails (2017) as well, I have over 600 hours in that game and over 60 in this one. (Steam version)

People need to step up and call things that are bad, bad. The graphics here are like mid-80s. This shouldn't be acceptable these days. I understand nostalgia for old games, but this is a full priced modern game. This is horrible.

Not really full priced, it’s £18. Plus it’s meant to have a more retro look and the actual sprite work is gorgeous even if the pixel art is more ds-esque style.

legitimately one of my favourite game series. I was so invested in first cattails I got called the "top active player" in 2021 on switch. wildwood story is such a good sequel, I can't get enough of it
