My favorite thing about Travis is not only is he a one of a kind vocalist but he’s a hilarious goof who doesn’t take himself too seriously which is refreshing
Those high pitched melodic shrieks he does is fucking crazy, it gives Cattle decap a more evil sound, especially in a living breathing defecating piece of meat i love it
tavis is just a ridiculous vocalist, sometimes hes able to amit Animalistic screams from the depts of hell, guttural grows, pig squeals, melodic growling, and melodic vocals that remind me of a mutant troll from dank dark cave where no light shines through. He's one of the most diverse vocalist working in death metal today.
@@MrTomkat030 I mean, 5 years ago (when op’s comment was posted), Dickie Allen was still relatively unknown outside of underground deathcore circles. At this point in time 5 years ago, IA hadn’t even released The EGG.
I'm the guy that shot/edited this. I had some gutterals in an early edit, but Travis and I both decided that we didn't like how the microphone on my camera picked up the low end stuff. The high end stuff just sounded a lot crisper so that's what we went with.
0:00 The first song there is the second track "Dead Set on Suicide" No love for enemies, I see their eyes - waiting there in the shadows Extended hands will only be severed - you've condemned yourself to the gallows
Those clean vocals! Dammit, like a legion of skeletons, banshees or liches chanting. That was my precise impression when hearing it the first time on Monolith
@@f7744dread388 There is a short poem that people like to quote, it says something like: "Wherever you hear singing, go there For people there have kind hearts Evil people - trust me Those never sing" Meanwhile when I hear Cattle Decapitation clean singing...
Cheers to this man for havin the spheres of steel it took to introduce this very unconventional, but VERY effective, brutal, wonderful style of vocal expression. I hear the sounds of it stuck in my head at least once every day since I grew to love it.
this dude it's by far the best extreme metal vocalist, and that album it's again by far the best extreme metal album, eleven years later and still kicks everyone's ass
If its the 15 minute documentary then I'm a little disappointed to be honest.. I wanted to hear more raw footage and have dedicated videos for each instrument like with Monolith :/ It was good, but just not what I had hoped for.
i fucking love watching u guys record man, so damn good, this album, and both of your videos, i am fucking blown away in amazement!! congrats on pushing the boundaries man. fucking metal!!!! \m/
***** I met him at St. Vitus bar in Brooklyn after a show and you're absolutely correct. These guys genuinely appreciate the hell out of their fans and have no problem hanging out with the crowd after a show.
Bret Caputo I really hope I can see these guys live someday. I really like their music and they all seem genuine and nice unlike a large majority of bands it seems.
Thanks for the response =) I'm currently using an SM57, but I think this will make a great upgrade. I was thinking of going with the BLUE Baby Bottle, but I think I'm going to pick this up instead.
How is it possible that those demon destroying church exploding world collapsing brain bleeding vocals come out of such a soft spoken gentle styled human being
I came here terribly eager to check out wth those bizarre but really interesting vocals were, hoping to get some form of insight... I'm crying a torrent of tears right now, can't stop.
