I got the chance of a lifetime a few summers ago, actually, I think it was 2014. Went on a road trip out west to Wyoming to visit family and my uncle arranged a day on the range with a friend of his. I spent all morning and afternoon searching for 3 heifers, move them to another pasture and ride home.....we had 3 dogs with the two of us and they basically just played in puddles. What was fun is there was almost no yipping, hollering or anything to make the cows move, just a little pressure from one of us moving towards them and then retreating when they moved forward.....It was amazing. A dream of mine came true that day and I still haven't forgotten each second of it
Ban Rodeos? Rodeo Livestock has it easier than I do in this old world. They work about 8 seconds a week, eat all they want, travel and see the world, don't get turned into hamburger like their siblings that wouldn't buck did.
