Cattoo tattoos for cats in Russia 

This is despicable. The cat has no say in whether it gets tattooed or not. This is a clear form of abuse.

Creative grooming is one thing - non-toxic dyes wash out, fur grows back. Tattooing an animal for cosmetic reasons is a piss poor excuse for using anesthesia.

Poor sphynx cat. I have one of these little guys and they are such beautiful creatures. I can't imagine subjecting mine to a 3 hour long tattoo session. I have many many tattoos myself, over 30 hours worth. But these were MY choice. As for ID tattooing, yes, of course mine has this, but that its totally different!

Just aweful. Tattoos hurt, that's just one part, but gosh, does any of you know how much risk is in anesthesia, especially for long hours? Ask your local Vet, or google it out, and shame on you.

This is the ultimate in animal cruelty. I can't understand how an animal owner could do this to their pet. Totally sickening!

What the heck is WRONG with these idiots! It’s one thing to get your own tattoo but this is completely INSANE! It’s not like the cat is being neutered! This does nothing for the health of the cat! It’s entirely a status fashion statement for these very VAIN owners! I wonder if she’s planning on tattooing her children! I wouldn’t be surprised! This should be outlawed! It’s just vile!

you wouldnt tattoo an infant...so why on earth would you tattoo a cat?

I don't see anything wrong here. It's not if its going to affect the cat's mating capabilities or living a healthy life. And we go under anesthetics for medication all the time, its not if cats are the ONLY SPECIES in the world who take the drug. No abuse done. He wakes up fine and the cat is non the wiser. He probably doesn't even know what a tattoo is and is going to live the rest of his live not even realizing it. It's just something an owner does because she obviously loves her cat.
