Despite all its terrible tragedies and hardships, the whole disaster that is 2020 has had its positive sides. One might have been Danny Howard’s Radio 1 Lockdown link up. The idea behind it: bring artists together that have never worked together due to time, place or opportunity. So when the dice were tossed for possible collaborations, you might want to think they were loaded.
The Catz ‘n Dogz liaison with Gerd Janson is just that obvious - as is the result. „Modern Romance“ translates to upbeat dance music that neither shies away from vocals nor pianos and is practically the antidote to any foul mood. Or as Gerd likes to put it: „The whole thing was already laid out by the dance music masters that are Catz ’n Dogz.
