@steven Sam! Dude are you crazy! Dogs, pigs, cattle, etc are types that belong to a breed of their particular species! Maybe you belong to the 🤡 breed!

I could be wrong, I thought I read in a tutorial that Volkodav was a type of dog like a Labrador but there were sub species; Alabai, Caucasian Shepherd, etc. I could be wrong..if so, my bad....

But you are correct dealing with types, that belong to that particular breed, example a show German shepherd and working German Shepherd belong to the breed German Shepherd, but are breed different from each other, that would make both a type because of the breeding process!

Да и чемпионат мира это название весьма условное. Просто сделали такой же чемпионат как и чемпионат России, только назвали чемпионатом мира. Это совсем не означает что там были всё сильнейшие собаки мира

@@HBKennel lol it does in that photo, but there other examples where it doesn’t. And there’s many dogs from the modern CAO that don’t as well. And even the dog in the photo, isn’t as exaggerated as some of the dogs you used.

@@HBKennel lol even the modern Caucasian Volkodav has “giant fabricated” examples as well. Anyways I posted another picture. It might be hard to see but the dog in my profile has a much narrower muzzle than a st.Bernard. But still wider than a volkodav and not as long of a muzzle either. But not so much exaggerated. And yes I don’t doubt that.

The Volkodav in the beginning of the video is mixed . Most CAO that you see online or RU-vid are mixed as well. Do you really think that the bigger mastiff mixed dogs can actually work as they claim the do? No!! The dogs are too massive and don't have the stamina to travel and guard flock. I've known about these Shepherds for a while. I worked with a guy that is Ukrainian. He was in the Red Army when they were part of the USSR. I had American Bulldogs at the time. He told me about Cao and Volkodav as well as other breeds. He showed me pictures and they don't resemble these modern dogs. Good to see some footage of true working dogs.

CAO is a great LGD,and can be used to be "fighting lines dog", but VOLKODAV is selected for fighting. Do, Alabai is better LGD than Volkodav.

@HB Kennel Hello HB Kennel. Thanks for the video. I'm glad that someone finally posted something informative about these breeds as I can see the difference between older Alabai and Volkodav dogs or original per say. There's a lot of western breeds that were added to these two breeds not just St. Benard. That goes the same to the LGD breeds and Bully Kutta. There's a lot of inconsistency in these dogs. I'm not new to rare breeds. I've owned several rare breeds so I do have first hand experience dealing with dogs and breeders that have lied about having 100% pure bred dogs which later to find out that a lot of these breeders of these dogs lied or they were lied to. My current dogs do man work sport/pp work. I've gone hunting with my dogs with reputable and experienced hog hunters. I have experience working dogs and know what a working dog physically should look like. Most of the dogs that I've seen on RU-vid can't do a real days work guarding herd, flock or sheep. They're too big. I respect all working venues but most of these can't perform in the specific venue that they claim. I don't consider 15 minutes a true test.

@@umineacra8294 The best work animals, resistance, bite, character, size are selected and cross between them, they are tested in regional tournaments in fights under regulations, for the best selection. it is not a natural breed.

there is a big problem with amateurs . What they read they don't use filters . 3000 years is for aboriginal mountain shepherd dog of Turkmenistan not for modern central Asia shepherd dog is a fabricated dog .

i have registered Volkodav as a breed in 2020 in Hazariya Habaramos Legendary

@@HBKennel Registering him still does not make him a breed. What are the standards for this breed? Somebody will cross Alabay and Kanqal, another will cross Qurdbasar with Caucasian Shepherd and so on to get good generation of volkodav. Basically Volkodavs in North Caucasus are the results of crosses of mostly CAO, Qurdbasar, Kanqals and Caucasian Shepherds in last 100 years.

CAUCASIAN SHEPHERD and CAO are completely different breeds. Caucasian Shepherd origin is from North CAUCASUS mountains, CAO origin is from Central Asian region. Phenotypes of VOLKODAV are different, because they are chosen only to fighting abilities,and selected blood of Volkodav champions. Aboriginal type of CAO is much smaller than Volkodavs generally speaking, specially in heavyweight category but lightweight category is not so much . Alabai is no comparation to Volkodav, specially CHAMPIONS OF VOLKODAVS LEAGUE. SHOW line Alabai is similar to Volkodavs,but shape of head is different, stamina is better in Volkodav, and fight experience is generally speaking better in Volkodav.

ALABAI ,the best LGD, NORTH CAUCASIAN VOLKODAV is the best fighting dog, German Shepherd is good for police and military duty dog

kangal is not for that job is to weak against Volkodav and to small

Kangal is lightweight, Volkodav is heavyweight, and as much as I love Kangal, it would lose.

Kangal is awesome dog but is simply out done bye the weight and power of volkodav.
