How very true. But it's unfortunate that we may not witness anything close to that taking place in the foreseeable future. The political climate in the US (and everywhere else on earth) is so deprived of basic moral standards, and the voice of one person like Judge Caprio would most likely be drowned by those who have already established a strong web of intrigues. It's kinda ominous, I finished typing 'political climate' in the last sentence and right after that, Judge Caprio mentioned the same phrase. Anyway, we can't give up however difficult the situation seem to be, as I believe that politics merely reflects the general condition of the society as a whole, and a change beginning from the smallest societal unit (the family) will do wonders in the long run, we all just have to try hard and hang tight :)

Dear Judge Caprio! I’m from Germany (51 year young man) and find your channel and it’s so awesome exiting! Personal I never had go to court, and when I see German court times here, it’s totally different. You act like a fair human and your always looks interested in what is your job. When I look a German judge, I always get the feeling that they have already done and it’s more a fight between the lower and the prosecuting attorney. The person is only a spectator. It looks a lot more pleasant at your court room! For me it looks that you fight very fair for the rights but also don’t forget the human being. Judge Caprio: you are the blessing God sent to me in the darkest of hours. I spend countless hours of time previously spent at the firm working as a litigation paralegal, defending clients litigants in med-mal; personal injury; defective product liability;; federal to include 1st amendment rights; etc; which was and still is my great passion. However due to the ever increasing intensity and frequency of flare-ups I've been forced to take take leave of an incredibly rewarding and high paying career to settle for SSDI/MediCare which places me and my special needs child below federal poverty guidelines & sunk me personally down to emotionally new lows. You're spirit lifted me up & I sure hope some how; some way you may get this message in part, piece or parcel. Res ipsa loqa tor!! God bless you and your wonderful family!! 🙏💕🇺🇸

I had a terrible upbringing. My father was a decent man. But not very.... good at raising children I guess. My mother was murdered when I was a boy. However! I have not forgotten where I came from, and now, in his old age, I am looking after him oh, and he is also looking after me. Sometimes our pasts aren't the best, but doing our best to make things right and do the right thing is the way to go. We make do with what we have. Better yet, we make better with what we have. Judge Caprio, I lived in Newport when I was 5-years-old in 1962, when I met John Glenn. I remember driving back from Boston with my Mom and her fiance, who was a jet pilot and Navy Commander on Halloween 1962, we stopped in Fall River and "Commander" told us the story of Lizzie Borden in front of her house at 11 PM at night. I remember looking out our bay window and seeing JFK and Jackie, Caroline sailing the Narragansett estuary. Whenever I hear Newport or Rhode Island I smile. You are proof I was right then and now. Is this Heave, no, it is Rhode Island. Thanks, Judge, for being you. The best and brightest Rhode Island has to offer. I remember that great line from "A Man for All Seasons". Henry VIII bully and Chancellor Thomas Cromwell is threatening Chancellor/Sir/Saint Thomas More: Sir Thomas More: You threaten like a dockside bully. Cromwell: How should I threaten? Sir Thomas More: Like a minister of state. With justice. Cromwell: Oh, justice is what you're threatened with. Sir Thomas More: Then I am not threatened.

Mr Caprio, when you tell your stories of when you were young, it reminds me of the stories my Mother and Father told me. They grew up during the depression and I always cry when they talk about it. The youth of today will never know what it is like to struggle and I think that's why they don't appreciate what they have and are disrespectful. I come from a family of 9 children and I know what it's like to be poor. There are so many things my parents taught all of us, but the two things that really stand out for me are, respect and sharing.
