If the management paid for their own electricians they could have it fixed it a day or two but they choose not to pay

If you've seen the electrical towers after the storm, you'd completely understand why it's taking so long. There are so many workers busting their butts in this heat to get the power back up. The best thing to do is be patient and frequent your local stores that have generators running. I lived over two weeks without power after Hurricane Ike. It sucked, but it was temporary.

No comment because sometimes there are no answers. She’s management , not an electrical engineer. Obviously something is wrong and will take time to troubleshoot and fix.

Why soo much importance on the heights? Lots of other low income apt complexes with no power around Houston.

Because they’ve taken the steps to reach out to the news, that’s why.

If I’m not mistaken and these are the ones I’m thinkin they aren’t low income Apts. They’re pretty fancy.

Complaining that they don’t know they answer but actively being worked on? Like what update you want? Still being diagnosed

When I grew up in Texas in the fifties and sixties, only rich people had air conditioning. No regular people had air conditioning.

That’s crazy for the amount of rent the customers pay. It’s too hot to not have electricity
@evolman6661

That should not make a difference in whom and when electricity gets restored. Lots of low income families and neighborhoods still have electricity issues. And can’t afford to get a fan or rent a room or generator. All they talk about is the more well off neighborhoods. Haven’t seen them in cloverleaf, 2nd and 3rd ward. Lots of damage there too. Guess that property isn’t valued as high to get news coverage unless it’s a violent crime. 😂

Center point said it could be weeks.

Center point hired contractors from Indiana, they came to house and told me they had to pull my meter along with eight of my neighbors. Their explanation was that they to be sure that if I was using a generator there wouldn't be any "back feed" when the power lines were energized. I told them I wasn't using a generator but they pulled my meter off anyway and set it on the ground next to my house. I was the last house to get power on the night of 5- 24. I had to call Center point energy repeatedly until one of their techs came out and plugged my meter back in. The Contractors from Indiana were already gone. Has anyone else had this type of experience with these tater phucks from Indiana?

Buy you a generator. We live in an area of Texas where there’s some sort of weather event every year. You need a generator or a couple if you can afford it.
@NessaGee-hx1et

Most apartment complexes in Houston do not allow generators on balconies. Another apartment complex in Houston was fining residents that did have them after the storm.
