For positions where image isnt a factor I do believe your correct, however under some instances it is legal hire based on race/sex/appearance. I believe this mainly for actors. ie: if your making a movie where you want a specific race or gender its considered fine to "discriminate". Its totally understandable in these instances but I wonder how much Disney could try to deflect criticism by saying "oh this policy only applies to actors".

I told him I'm quitting because Disney couldn't offer me a leave of absence for a month because I had no seniority. Til this very day I still have Bret's card, though it's unfortunate that I'm a white straight male and Disney will now have nothing to do with me.
