I disagree. As they were debating the validity of string theory, one was trying to support it with increasingly complex extra-dimensional mathematics, while the other kept pointing out the utter lack of any empirical evidence. Just because the math works, doesn't make a theory real.

Just putting it in math books doesn't make it any more real. And it's no fair using the "It can't be DIS-proven" argument. It's would be interesting experiment to let them develop their own language without the intervention of a third party. Most probably they would come up with a new language. Has this experiment ever been done before? Anybody knows?
Yeah, I went to high school with a set of twins who would break out the twin talk whenever they didn't want anyone to know what they were saying. I think they also got a kick out of people thinking it sounded just like gibberish.
No, they just can’t talk yet. They can’t form words and sentences yet. They are babbling like every other kid their age. It’s not a “twin language.” When they start talking, and are able to speak actual words and sentences, then they’ll be able to be understood. Until then, this is just gibberish that all babies do when trying to talk.

Sorry to spoil the party but they not repeating the same words. They are making the only verbal talk sounds that they can. We can all make out what seems like no. That's easy for them to learn and picked up from a parent. There's nothing else that deep going on here between them two. It's the ppl in the comment section putting their own spin on things, trying to make it deep.

As I like to say...Rugrats (as in the cartoon) language is real...find a precocious 2.5 to 3 year old and show this to them...they'll translate for us all!!
You got that right! It's so interesting how they understand each other. My twin boys did the same. They'd use hand gestures too, and that's when I figured out they were trying to figure out how to climb the entertainment system! 😂

Adorable 🥰 My twins used to keep each other entertained upon waking up. They’d even tell jokes and giggle with each other. This was entertaining to eavesdrop but also it bought me and my husband more time to relax 🥰
My twin niece's did that too. It was like upon waking up seeing each other after a long time. We never got tired of seeing that joyous animated reaction every morning.
My half-sisters… 20 and 21 years older than me… had their own language, as per reports from my mother. She would go into one room, then the other, and they’d be singing the same song.
My twins would do this alot! Sitting in the back seat of the car as infants and babble then throw heads back and start to giggle hysterically! I loved that memory so much. They were fraternal as well. I case people assume it's only an identical trait.. ..

Aww so adorable You know they will probably get thrusted balls deep during college in the upcoming 2 years. It's so sad to see our children lose their innocence.
Non verbal comes before speech. If you spent enough time with all sorts of different animals, you will read the sounds they make to a degree. If you bound with an animal, the understanding gets deeper, theyay even adapt so you will understand. These kids are practicing, imitating their parents. The words have little meaning yet, but the core of what they are conveing is clear.

Exactly, it certainly helps the children develop language, when taken seriously and replied to appropriately. Even if it is no more than baby talk for now. That is also how children will come to the caring adults in their lifes, in confidence. 😊
There is a pattern definitely ..I'm an ex- language instructor so I'm trained to recognize weird languages from gibberish. Very interesting ...and adorable.😮

Individual children can make their own language, my great nephew, who is very bright, had a language he spoke to us for a year, before deciding we were too stupid to learn it, and started speaking our language, in complete sentences!
True, my twin and i had our own language that was only under by us also, until we just kinda out grew it.. We are 8or9 years older than our other sibling, so it was just us 2 for a while..@@ramblerdave1339

My mom(who has twin brothers) swears up til she passed, that my twin and I fought from the time we were conceived! Our last "who haw" was when we were 25 yrs old! Me the push-over, fought back for once!

I had that with my cousin. One day a friend came round for coffee. My cousin said something funny and I laughed. My friend asked why we were laughing. I asked her if she didn't find the joke funny and she said nobody had said anything. My cousin thought she'd said it aloud and I definitely heard her but my friend said nobody had spoken.
Most people say that twins can feel each other’s feelings, emotions, and thoughts but I did not find any twin does that. All whom I met were very different. They were common only in appearance
If you listen carefully, technically they both were correct. Even though the twin on the left was adamant that the Earth's circumference is 24,900, that's in miles. The other sister's comment about 40,073 was referring to kilometers. They both were on point.🤣

Their faces say it is serious. They are not agreeing. And it became really serious when she leaned closer to her sister, the reasonable one, lowered her voice, and repeated herself (she's bossy). This is God awesome. What a beautiful creation❤

Twin toddlers can form their own language that only they can understand called twin talk or twin speech. It just goes to show how strong and close twin's bonds really are. It's amazing.
I had twin talk with a child who was not my twin. Our parents were friends, and my mom watched us during the day until we were two, then his mom watched us during the day until we were four. It had nothing to do with a mystical relationship between people who shared a womb and everything to do with being two children who spent their days together.

Mom of identical twins here. They are mimicking adult conversations and appearing to understand each other. They understand each other by knowing each other very well. They will be ahead socially because they already understand how a conversation between people should go and they get to practice it. Very cute toddlers 💕
After I watched it a few times, I recognized it. They are re-enacting an argument they saw/heard from Mom & Dad many times. Dad role has her back to us.
