this is about what I do except i'll add vegetable broth and carrots but will try now with the seasonings you mentioned! i love simple recipes like this that just focus on drawing out flavors instead of masking them.
Thank you for sharing your AMAZING recipe! I watched your lovely, aesthetically pleasing video (enjoyed listening to the well-chosen accompanying musical sound track) then created my own version of your delightful soup. I used chicken broth instead of water, arrow-root powder as the thickening agent...and fresh thyme instead of the dill garnish. Fabulous! Today was the first time in my life that I found and experienced eating Sparassis crispa. I just so happened to spy a nice (older) specimen by chance, in passing, on my way back indoors from inspecting something outside on our property. It was an extremely fortuitous find! Your recipe was the perfect way to enjoy this delicious fungus!
A za druhé, nemíchejte kovovou lžičku v teflonovém hrnečku, lépe použijte dřevo. S pozdravem.
@@cancel1913 by the way, this mushroom is a natural source of medicinal ingredients that can contribute to the limitations and even prevention of human disease (e.g., cancer, allergies, and especially diabetic disease)
I found this mushroom today and brought it home with me as I knew it was edible. Your recipe looks delicious!! I'm going to give this a whirl tomorrow!
I make this soup everytime i find a cauliflower mushroom - and everyone likes it, but i would like to point out that "kmín" in English is caraway - you can make the soup woth cumin (which is římský kmín in Czech), but it will definitely taste different - i also add some spicy paprika and garlic, but that is up to personal taste
I have seen hundreds of Cauliflower mushrooms in British Columbia, plus they are worth so much money on the market. They are worth $4,000 dollars a pound.
