I’ve seen this message intermittently on my 2010 crv for years. It mainly happens when car parked in hotter temperatures. It usually goes away after first drive. Is it dangerous to be operating vehicle with these trapped vapors? Your video was very informative- much more than any Honda dealer ever explained. Thanks
When hoses get hot they can expand which can cause leak's that are hard to find. This is for emissions so its not dangerous but the vehicle may not pass an emission test.
It will go off on its own eventually, but it may take a while. It is best to reset it with a scan tool. You can look up what's called a Drive Cycle for your year and make to get it to fully clear quicker. If you don't have a scan tool, automotive stores often scan and clear codes for free.
