Causeway is an intimate portrait of a soldier struggling to adjusting to her life after returning home to New Orleans.
Filmed in New Orleans, the A24 film is directed by Lila Neugebauer, and written by Ottessa Moshfegh, Luke Goebel and Elizabeth Sanders. Lawrence produces alongside Justine Ciarrocchi for Excellent Cadaver. In addition to directing, Neugebauer serves as executive producer. Causeway is produced by IAC Films, IPR.VC, Excellent Cadaver and A24.

Thankfully they didn’t essentially show the entire film story including ending like most trailers. I like to think of a trailer as something that sparks curiosity in the film, not that gives me the Cliffs Notes.

Za poslední měsíc jsem viděl všechny filmy s Jennifer Lawrence. Žádný není propadák, její autentičnost a schopnost dodat postavám reálný náhled je věc přímo neskutečná. Má dar od Boha a za mě Je to nejlepší, absolutně nejlepší herečka současnosti. Její krása jako bonus k tomu všemu.❤ A i když nesdílím její liberální postoje, musím uznat, že tahle ženská mě opravdu chytla za srdce

Nice movie. Jennifer L. Looks better in this kind of movies. It's funny how the movie tries to not pay attention to her beauty and make her out to be a normal woman. It's not a great movie just she makes it looks better. Just that.

Driving across the causeway is enough to get me overwhelmingly feeling dark. Movie looks good though, glad Louisiana is seeing some more film production since the State blew it with the film tax credits a decade or so back.

This trailer tells basically nothing about the movie. No story, no reason the watch the movie. I could put together a clip with royalty free footage and music and it'd likely be more inspirational and more rich in plot.
