Its more of a nerf. They removed the blur effect which was the best part of his gas. The fact you can walk into gas traps and still 1v1 a caustic in the gas with no disadvantage makes him even more useless.

@@st3alth539 “with no disadvantage” You still can’t see, you are slowed, and you take health damage. You are at a clear disadvantage trying to 1v1 a caustic in his gas

@@michaelmilian4336 You can see perfectly fine, a 1v1 doesn't take that long so you wont take that much damage his passive is rendered useless and his gas traps dont stop anyone from pushing through them anymore.

Honestly I feel like one of the buffs caustics alt has needed is that the gas spread should be a larger area cause tbh whenever I get hit with it I’m able to casually walk out of it most of the time

Any larger would be too much, the current aoe is already annoying enough. It is easy to escape from in big map sure, but building fight is atrociously annoying against caustic

I've got a Content challenge for you. Upgrade two Evolving Reactivate gun skins fully in the same game. 3 Times with 3 different sets of weapons. Your choice of combo. Flatline Havoc R-301 R-99 Wingman G7 Peacekeeper may be too hard since it's in the Care package.

It may do more damage but players are now running through it in 2 seconds like it's no big deal. So there was a tradeoff. Slowdown was reduced, I think.

The gash should be more spread and it goes outside the walls if your in a room should the gas fill the volume of a room if its is narrow and long

Who else remembered when you can sit in nox gas as revenant or pathfinder with a self revive in 1 gas trap and that ended up with 1/4 of your donated health and self reviving in the gas.
