Cavalleria Rusticana Arena di Verona 2021 Karahan Ganassi Enkhbat 

Jealousy, Vengeance, and vendetta! Portray in Sicily! No wonder there were more widows in the area then young men. The aria's, the intermezzo, can't touch it. Better then La Gioconda! The tenor was superb! He nearly sounded like Pavarotti! Wonderful, the soprano (che bella) voice! So profound and deep. Hope no one in the opera in Verona, caught COVID and died. Would like to hear more of them sing. This opera was given for the sake of those who were in lock down, and a few came to see it live in Verona! Wearing masks, hope saved their lives!!! Thank you for posting this beautiful opera!!!

The Intermezzo is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever composed, and the Easter Hymn. They are both immensely moving.

Excelent performances by the whole cast. Mama Lucia in particular is sung by a true contralto, very pleasant to listen to. A visually beautiful and musically very good production.

I like a performance in open space . A fine idea to follow not only during pandemia .

I am still sometimes asked which opera I would recommend as a first experience. I think “Cavalleria” fills the bill perfectly.

Overall, what an exceptional production. I loved all of it.

Lola posee una voz desigual.Santuzza se esfuerza, pero no es suficiente.No está cómoda en el papel .El elenco masculino es mucho mejor.Alfio es excelente y Murat Karahan canta y actúa muy bien.

Soprano was ok but lacked the power required in the Easter hymn. Not putting her down but callas blasts towards the end in joy at the resurrection. I just didn't feel that joy here. Acting us awful. Soprano has only one face throughout the whole work
