This is the Cold Steel 1796 light Calvary Saber ( Circa 2010 ordered) It's a very heavy Saber, Most suited for Mounted hit and run attacks, which is what a Cavalry Saber charge was intended for, for me This is one of my favorite Cutting sabers, however I would not Fight on foot with it.
