Congratulations on getting married Mr and Mrs Gone Walkabouts! My wife and I really appreciate your videos mate. Being out of Australia for the moment your videos are a nice relaxing way to reconnect with the Aussie landscape. Anyway, wanted to let you know that on Better Homes and Gardens they had a wombat sanctuary that was treating mange with repeated doses of an insecticide delivered from a cup on the top of a burrow door that pours on them when they exit the burrow.

Best video yet Scotty! A massive improvement on your previous.. I’m happy to hear you talk about our land and the impacts from colonisation. I can see that you respect the bush and that’s clearly evident in your videos. Aussie stuck over in Europe, seeing out the lockdown. Watching your videos has helped me keep my sanity. Hope to get home soon and just sit in the middle of no where for a while and listen to the bush. BTW, pretty sure those “spiky things” you mentioned is ricin. Can’t get a more deadly plant than that. Eat the colourful beans inside and you will be a goner, very quickly. Congrats also.

The highest quality as always Mr Sotty, an absolutely beautiful location with those sandstone cliffs and caves. Just magic mate. Very sad note at the end with the wombat. Such a uniquely Aussie animal with such a distressing condition is pretty hard to accept. I feel your pain being powerless to do anything.

Hi Scotty, i have been following your videos and recognise some of these you go into, this particular one i have been walking and camping ect for a while, i started to do vids sum years ago because i think people would like to see these places, just a bit further down stream is where it closes in and becomes gorge like for about 10ks long and quite stunning, watching you wandering around the srcub reminds me of a younger self so keep going and love ya work. Fantastic spot. Also some advice if you want it, use a stick and drag some coals away from the fire and cook with that. I’ve noticed a trend across a few videos now of you just putting the pan straight on the fire and that’s way too hot to cook with.

One tip, when you fill up your bottles to filter, don’t aim the mouth into the oncoming water, it will help keep debris out of the bottle. I love your channel, you’re one of the few that I watch weekly through previous content

Congrats on the marriage, great video as always. Recommendation for the chopping board- I use a cutting sheet about A3 in size only $2 warehouse NZ I’m sure you can find something similar locally. Actually lighter than most of the tiny boards for hiking/ bushcraft downside is no structure to it so you need to find something flat to stick it on. Back of the pack works if no other options. I carry it against my back in the pack and protects against anything jabbing in the back as well.

I have that same Keith pan except I bought mine before they put the folding handle on it. I have to use a pot gripper to use it, but I love that pan! Good for a plate to eat from and great for cooking too. I've found that one must keep some distance between the heat source and the pan in order to cook without scorching, but once that's been settled it works great!
