Cave Story Arranged - Running Hell (Newer Version) 

When I first killed the Heavy Press... I didn't move. I thought I was safe. That was the first and only time I threw a piece of gaming equipment across the room. And I'm pretty sure the neighbours ten doors down heard my scream,too.

heard this song in a video, thought it sounded good, went to description clicked link, left on repeat for 30 minutes and never noticed it was made by dm dokuro, no wonder its so good

I know it's four years too late but GOD DAMN this is a great remix.

I am not joking when i say this is my favorite song. Ever. I've revisted it more than any other I've listened to over the years, and it's truly a phenomenal work of art! Also i just started playing cave story+ and it is an outstanding game as well :) this man has great tastes in games and music

I don't get why most of the calamity community on your channel don't listen to your other music. ALL your other songs really deserve more attention, not just your calamity ones. (this running hell remix and merciful are some of my favorites.)

This remix is fantastic. Love how it starts off using the original version as a basis and then switches over to the buildup the wiiware track has. 10/10, super good instrumentation and faithfulness while still retaining the feel of the original track.

imagine if after defeating ballos the island kept falling. imagine a whole escape sequence where you rescue everyone and get the hell out of there

The first room is a test of your control of Quote, the second room is an endurance rush with nearly unavoidable obstacles, (maybe partially to test you on your exploration of the game as good luck if you don't have max health.) The third room is the main level offering the hardest platforming challenges and enemies the game has. It caps off with a boss that puts you in a small confined space with hazards and enemy swarms, challenging your situational awareness and ability to maintain your composure under high stress. The blood stained sanctuary in my opinion is one of the hardest final levels i've ever seen masterfully crafted to prepsre you for the true final boss of the game. And this remix? Slaps with the force to resurrect your dead ass for another attempt.

OH HECK YEAH this is one of my favorite arrangements you did in your Cave Story album. It combines the original, WiiWare and CS+ Remastered soundtrack versions of the song into an epic remix that goes well with you remixing style.

Discovering this almost a decade after the fact, I'm loving how well the megaman and megaman x soundfonts mesh with cave story themes especially with how you arranged this

Honestly, the only thing that can improve this if somebody does a mashup mix with both this brilliance, the OST mixes, and the remix by GaMetal (Jonny Atma), with the GaMetal solo section being inserted into the first loop. NOTE: if anyone's inspired by this comment, I WILL apologise for anything wrong with my suggestion, out of responsibility for inspiring said wrongness.

I was just browsing RU-vid and saw a youtuber use a song similar to this, I thought it was good so I clicked on this. Trying to find the song to download, I come across this song. There was no form of surprise on my face when I realized who this was from, no other artist I know can make songs like this. (Yes ik I'm 6 years late)
