He isn’t wearing shoes because it’s more comfortable when using his looping pedal (repeats what he played so it sounds like multiple people are playing even though it is just one) you can see this when he isn’t strumming or playing in Juliet but the guitar still goes
@@youngmosh Don't know if you're comfortable with this now. If not, always practice with a metronome and slowly first. What helped me a lot was to strum the chord only one time. Then when I can do it mindlessly, I try to add the strum pattern. Work a little bit everyday, once you can do it on one song, it's easier to achieve it on other songs. It's like singing or riding a bike.
I wish I could have 5 minutes to talk to him, he’s inspired me greatly (and I’m a metal head) and I’m pursuing a musical career and I just want a dialogue with this genius, the lyrics are perfect every time and the chord progressions I would have never thought of, we don’t even have to talk about music I just want to exchange words. This man inspires me so much and I would love to pick his brain Excuse the run on sentences and whatnot I just wanted to speak my mind not gonna fix it
I'm in camp right now and first two days were pretty awful, but I've finaly got a chance to use internet (even tho it's pretty bad) and when I've turned this video on, I felt so happy . He has grown so much, his videos keep me happy (and alive).( I'll never get a chance to visit his concert, but I still hope to break it)
7:23 is my favorite paRT also can we just take a moment to appreciate over how he smiles and does that scoff/laugh when the audience echoes/shouts back aHH uwu
My dad and my brother do absolutely everything together, to festivals, to concerts, to wrestling matchesss. the second I said I wanted to see cavetown (or twenty one pilots, YUNGBLUD, and The wombats at the Reading festival) they were ‘too busy’
@@benjaminalderson314 weyt thats the meaning of dyslexic / dyslexia (lol srry if im an idiot btw i thought its about having hard time on focusing and reading)
@@HenriettaTheVirtuoso it also can affect how we hear words. For example sounds like th, ph and b, d are easy to mix up. I had to train my brain to be able to pick up different sounds. A lot of people think that dyslexics literally see letters differently. But I, at least, don't have that experience. It's not that I see b and it looks like a d, it's that I confuse which sound corresponds with which letter. Or I hear ba but what was actually said was dah. Don't even get me on spelling. (Tough, thorough, bridge, bomb, debt, island, vacuum, beautiful, friend, ect. All of which have, at one point, been a bane to my existence.) I hope this was helpful idk lol
2:18 I think he really gets into the last part of the song, I think the guitar and the singing just goes down a different/better route just for a moment
I'm so proud of you! I've been a huge fan since 2014 and I feel so privileged to see you grow into the person you are now. If you see this I love you and I cant wait to see what else you have in store for us.
fr! I've been a big fan since 2014 too, and it's so weird to see him get so big. it still hasn't hit me properly and I'm in disbelief every time I see the number of fans he has, it's a weird feeling.
don't get me wrong, he's insanely talented, but i wish he had more upbeat songs because his style seems a bit monotonous now and i want to expect something different from him like devil Town, having said that, this was a terrific performance and im so excited to see his journey as an artist!
@@danielyourestillachad5542 the studio versions are a lot more upbeat, because here it's only him and his guitar and a loop pedal. also in his own shows he uses backing tracks and has a bassist to make things more lively and upbeat :)
@@beahosking6962 I heard the studio versions already but oh cool I didn't know about the live bass thing! hope he manages to bring out the bass player during fests
Gods, going back over Skinners older live performances is such a trip. Wish he'd do more solo performances at his current shows, as well as play some of his older songs.
i've been loving and supporting robbie since 2015 and seeing him grow into this wonderful super talented person that's being successful af makes me really really happy 💖 robbie you're art
