Yeah being a felon doesn't keep you from owning knives, if that were the case Walmart and Target would have to keep their kitchen knives locked up haha.

I would argue that “combat knives” or one-hand knives are weapons, making it possible to consider them arms. Following that logic, you could then disallow felons from carrying them.
