Hi, great video thank you I’ve undone all the bolts to remove the guard under the sill moulding but can’t work out how to release the sill and pull back to get at the plug. Can you help with guidance please? Many thanks in advance.
Cracked it - the sill is joined to the a pop out section level with which looks like it’s part of the wheel arch but isn’t. If you pop this open you can see a silver metal catch which will release the sill. Still a bit of a concern where it came from as the drain behind the wheel though dirty seemed fine, the hvac is dry and dripping out the bottom and the drains from and the sunroof are clear - anyway we’ll keep a close eye on the passenger seat floor and check the drains each year. Hours of un necessary fun, if it’s at risk of flood you’d think the drain plug would be inboard to make it accessible during a service.
