Nowadays we get the highness front mudgaurd for this which might help. I am just concerned about the rear. Does the tyre hugger help protecting the pillion and the rider from mud. Planning to buy CB350 RS, but if this is an issue i might have to think twice. My second option is the classic 350. And what is the condition of your bike right now and how is it performing against mud?
after 5 month i came across pot hole in banglore that tyre hugger literally crashed into the tyre stuck in between tyre and swing arm and gets very loosen up easily it is very bad for off-roading especially bngrl pot holes..
Bro, I have a doubt whether we can fix the hugger when you have the Sari guard. It comes with the bike when we buy it. I have the same in mine. Could not find in yours. Can we fix the hugger keeping the Sari guard intact?
Hi I am looking to buy this bike but I have following concerns: Can pillion seat be extended by anyways? Pillion comfort is compromised. If I use handlebar raiser, can I get the riding posture that I get on Highness?
You will have to customise the entire seat to do that and regarding extender, it will help you get a better posture, or else you can always get the highness handlebar installed.
I don't see how that would happen, even if we were to think so, the clamp goes on either sides that is equal extention on both side there's nothing more happening than what would happen if we add two washers on both sides.. Bro if you get a proper technical explanation on this like how it would misalign the wheel please do let me know too. Personally i don't think it will cause any misalignment as such.
I am working on getting an h4 converter for the headlight, will let you know..you can always add the aux lights on the crash guard that way it wont compromise the looks, and there are small and powerful options available that are kind of unnoticeable.
The best option as of now is to use an extender, RE interceptor fender extenders are working fine, but you will have to drill holes on the mudguard to fix it, and that will affect the warranty of the stock mudguard.
I was wondering the same as mine used to hit in bad roads. I neglected it but after driving in rough road for many hours with a pillion it all of a sudden broke and fell . I was about 85kms/hr in a highway. Glad that I didn't fall nor was there anyone behind me. 😢😢
Since it is a single sided mounting, i dont think it would be a good option, vibrate karneka chances bahut zyada h, single sided mounting. Aur mounting keliye alagse mounts be set karna padega shayad.
@@RYDERSAGA i was thinking bout the same but then one of my friends sent me 2 edited pics of what it would like with both variations and now i certainly prefer the one under the seat. The tyre hugger plate certainly takes away that semiscrambler touch and hides those fat tyres. Moreover, the hugger seems applicable for certain months of a year. So if you wish to remove the hugger for the better looks during the summer seasons, fixing the number plate would be an additional chaos since the plate is kept to the huggger. I really would like to see a mod just right under the seat with the hugger and later on remove the hugger during non rainy seasons. Looking forward 🤞
I am not a fan of the tyre hugger, i am thinking what to do, but i will fix something soon, i have an issue with the rear its not popping out, i have to check with the showroom and will do after that, anyhow i will definitely post whatever i do.
Nothing yet bro, i need to go to showroom to get the tail taken off since its stuck somehow, and the problem is here service centers are open on fridays only so not getting to go..i will workout something soon 😑
@@RYDERSAGA because i asked auto pappa he said double side hugger are not much quality but single side tyre hugger are much better quality like that he said bro
Then it must be so only bro since i haven't seen the double sided one in person can't really comment on the quality. If they are saying so it should be true.
Sab ka h bhai, honda ko b pata ni h kyun horaha h yeh, hamne toh sab try karliya, pure front end ka each and every part change karke dhekliya phir b koi change ni h...abhi honda ko hi kuch karna hoga
Another problem of the RS depicted in a brilliant way with a practical solution. Yours is a very underrated channel. P.S. personally I feel the tyre hugger messes the retro look of the RS. is there a way to extend the rear mud guard like the front?
Are you asking about extending the front mudguards ?, If then for the front mudguard, extenders are coming up in market, one that i have seen giving result is the RE interceptor fender extender. I too feel the tyre hugger compromises the looks, though my plan is to take down the licence plate onto the hugger and tidy up the tail. I will be doing it very soon. The plan is to bring about scrambler like looks.
@@RYDERSAGA no I’m specifically asking about extending the rear mud guard instead of fixing a tyre hugger. I feel the tyre hugger alters the look of the bike too much. Makes it look too modern, so I wanted to know if there’s any other solution.
Oh okie, but i don't think extending it further would look good either(personal opinion)..though i will check that too, will let you know if i find something..
😅😂 Video is meant for people with mud issue bro. Actually i bought this with other plans, i am yet to source a few more parts to complete the project, anyway i have already taken it off for the time being. For me its just an aid to tidy up the tail and bring in more scrambler like features.
This hugger got crashed in my cb 350 RS, when it got through a pothole. The cantilevered mudguard , and low quality plastic couldn't hold the force exerted a normal indian road potholes.... waste of money!
I totally agree with you, but the plan is to take down the number plate onto the hugger and then clear the tail, bringing in a scrambler look, hopefully bringing back the glamour. Please do sub and support ❤️
