I love how your husband came out to help and only gave you a drink of his beer ;-) I just got my overland bars and unpacked them. Install seems straightforward but I'm curious on which washers you used where?
the order I did was washer, lock washer then bolt (hopefully that made sense, so the lock washer was between the big washer and the bolt). that was for the brackets that went in the track of the bed of the truck.
Right on. Makes sense! I was thinking the same thing but my buddy said the lock washer should go on the inside, that seemed no to work well and I couldn't tighten it well. As far as the plate inside the rail, which way did you face it? Welded side towards the bed or away? I started with the welded side away (nuts facing the bed) but that same guy then told me the welded side should face towards the bed. BTW - have you mounted the RTT? Just got ours and I'm excited to get this thing mounted and then put the RTT as well !
eddyizm oh my. I'm so sorry I just saw this! Yeah we installed the RTT a month or less after this install. Hows your setup? You can follow my husbands insta (he posts about his truck and mine) @yota_af
Online it said 399 for the bars and that it comes in “pairs” is that a pair of bars or a pair of ends? I didnt question it until i read comes in pairs bar included haha
Im intrested in these for sure! Is there mounting holes on the crossbars for a RockyMount LoBall bike mount? Also looking at the site, is the $399 just for one Pair? so we would need to order 2 Pairs? Thanks!
The pair is what it came with. So just order one. I'm going to post a picture on here. Not sure if I can. There are different holes throughout the bar for different mounts I'm assuming. Just message CBI to confirm you can mount something like that
