jeremiah tinsley no I only used the purple gun for primer, for base and clear I used a Devilbiss Plus

A lot of work painting all those parts on that bike

@@Mechaniclyfe Yes. But possibly easier when you go in rounds. primer every thing. base coat everything I usually hang all pieces and spray them one after the other. Also an advice to you. Never paint original fairings. That decreases the value so much. I buy unpainted after market set and I replace the original fairings that I save for whenever I am selling the motorcycle. Looks brand new by then.

After market fairings dont have proper fitment a lot of the times plus the original paint was starting to fade because of the red color , so that’s why I painted the bike and plus she liked pearl white at the time . But I have never heard of it devaluing the bike if you paint it , that’s the first time I hear that

@@Mechaniclyfe Ya, it depends on what you get. One good thing also, it is not a big deal if you dropped it or cracked a piece of that aftermarket. Original plastics are very expensive. Some insurance companies would total the bike if there was a huge damage to the originals, even if the bike itself was untouched. You did a very decent job after all.

Yeah that is true I have seen many bikes in the auctions with barely any damage , thank you 🙏🏻 I’m always trying to improve my skills
