CBS 6 Rewind: Saving the Sagamore 

We are digging deep into our archives to take you back to moments in the Capital Region's history that you may not have known about, or had forgotten about, or just would enjoy seeing again. And our CBS6 Rewind kickoff is a bit of a shocker.
Today, it's one of the most beautiful properties on Lake George, but in 1981 the Sagamore Hotel--with a legacy that reached way back to 1883--was shut down for several years after having taken the summer tourist world by storm.
