WOW! She is one amazing young woman! Such an inspiration. If this works in humans, just imagine how many hundreds and thousands or millions of lives she could save :)
this is amazing! but i bet its really embarrassing for all the scientist that we give billions of dollars too and then a 17 year old find a very possible cure for cancer. i can't wait to see what else she has in store for us.
To answer everyone, medicine you find in Walmart and such stores take 10 years to be made, accepted to be sold, and pass, even though they still are testing the medicine once it hits stores.
well to be honest her idea in almost its entirety is presented almost in the same way several times when searching for this. the important part is that big pharma won't allow something unless it is expensive, as for my connection to anyone, this is a one on one conversation between you and I. so lets be civil.
There is no 'wasting' money when it comes to cancer. It's a lot more complicated than you seem to think it is. She hasn't cured cancer. She's made another small step. She's standing on the backs of giants. She wouldn't have been able to make that step without the countless people before her who have been making progress for decades.
Perhaps the "Almost Completely" disappear should be taken into consideration. 2:40 Not that this isn't excellent work. But Almost Completely is different from actually getting rid of it entirely.
@stedmans4christ Well, to find any side effects, people willing to test it out, experimenting, and etc etc. I could explain a bunch of reasons and legal issues, morality issues, and ethic issues.
@IAMPontiusPilate So all this is a fake story then. I suppose you may be right. If this is as groundbreaking as it sounds, it would already be featured on the front of Time magazine.
As well as, this is not exactly the cure, not to say I don't think she's a smart child because she is brilliant to do this on her spare time, don't even mind her ethnicity because that's so ignorant of you. But they can't just go test this on humans , they have to improve it step by step. This could be the cure or it could be the solution that needs to be tweaked so that all the cancer is removed. I go to her high school. 80% of the students here are super smart. Including me! Lol But like seriously, many students here are geniuses. In my math class, got 2100+ sat scores. The average was 2280. :) I got 2240
