Art Linkletter looks at some of the panel and quiz shows shown on CBS. Through the magic of television, he appears on the sets of "Match Game" and "The Price is Right" in the span of a few minutes; they were taped in the same studio (Studio 33 of CBS Television City), and would have been impossible to do live. This comes from the Saturday (and last) episode of "CBS On the Air."

The "sparkles" shown in the opening were only used on the Syndicated version.

Bob Barker in the late 70s PIR episodes, looks like the mexican actor Gerardo Murguia who made an appearence in Gotita de Amor, Diario de Daniela and Aventuras en el Tiempo in Televisa.

1:21 - Apparently, with regular adjudicator Dr. Mason Gross on vacation, Walter Cronkite filled in to officiate this episode of "Two for the Money" with Herb Shriner.

Family Feud The $20,000 Pyramid Tattletales The Price is Right Match Game '78 Hollywood Squares Wheel of Fortune Knockout To Say the Least The Gong Show Those were the ten network daytime game shows on at the time.

@Tubewings and Tattletales was cancelled Friday of this week of shows (3/31/78) but came back for a 2 1/2 year run in the 80s.

Looks like some of those "Price" clips were from a syndie ep.

Yeah, and Bob hosted the nighttime version for the last two or three years of its run until 1980. I'm pretty sure channel 11 in Durham, NC aired this version, back when it was a CBS affiliate.
