08-26-23 Rain, on and off all day. All this water isn’t good for my potatoes, oh well….A good story, and a Goodnight to all who find their way to these great stories! We were supposed to have rain today. But , we had a nice rain around 8:30 p.m. till midnight . It was a nice break from the heat of the day. Yesterday had been 103° today 85° . Next week temps 75-80°. So, I'm hoping we haven't many more hot days before Fall 🍂🍁 kicks off . My favorite time of the year! ☺️
@@docholliday1970 Fall is quickly becoming my favourite time as well. It seems there is more time for our walks along the Conservation areas which are lovely. I’ve never been much of one for hot summer days - red hair and fair skinned, so I have to sort of cover up more in the summer. I just love being outdoors, as long as it isn’t for too long in the freezing cold! 😊 I love watching all the things come to life and the changes to each season - especially plants and critters! I’m glad my husband and I have always kept active outside as the years have gone by - I definitely think it has made all the difference as we age. Take care, Doc..it won’t be too long I think for fall 😉 Decorations are already out in the stores for 🎃! ❤
@@docholliday1970 Our Thanksgiving is in October, but I bet the Christmas decor will be out here before then. I can’t keep up with the world - I’d like the time to enjoy the “ time”!
