The sensational tale of a serial murderer is followed by a judge and his attendant. The killer seems to exclusively choose young women as his victims and leaves tantalizing notes next to their corpses.

It is predicted by scientists that this, and coming years, will be awfully disappointing no matter what latitude you live in. Possibly, but I hope I can just get some more vegetables and entice a few more beautiful flowers this coming year, as the last five have been about me “working the soil”, if one can call it that, at 43 degrees North. I’m not giving up yet! Yesterday needed a warm winter coat, today just long sleeves. But - always a hat, the wind doesn’t seem to stop. We went 26 days a couple of months back, before we had one partially sunny day. It was a surprise to me just how much I had missed it! The house faces South, but out the back, looking straight north from the kitchen (on what is the second floor up) is an j disturbed 180 degree view, and even though I know that the sun rises everyday, some days the only proof of it is from here - where, at the precise minute for that day, I can “catch a glimpse” of it setting right up the middle of the escarpment, right to left, as the setting sun races to light up the valley of varied grey colours of trees and rock outcroppings with an almost angelic burst of bright yellow-white/orange light that is better than any “light-works show” I’ve ever seen! It makes one appreciate yet “another” artistic work from the Creator, Himself - and blessed not to have missed the 3-4 minute “show”. I so appreciate just how lucky I am to have that view!
Sorry, I forgot to say how much I appreciate Sir Edge’s addition of his hard work as he toils to to bring us these very creative and artfully written stories that continue to still speak to all of us, in many ways. I appreciate his efforts too, that allow us to listen to these stories uninterrupted by commercials. You are highly appreciated by all of us, Sir! You are gracious with your time in a world today that doesn’t seem to know “how to live and be in the moment” - the “zeitgeist”, I think is the correct word, and you are one who understands that. You give to all of us more than we can return, so thank you again! (perhaps just a schnapps tonight, I think!).
