Coffee Break Sessions is the new format that I will be posting on this channel. Compare to the previous hour-long episodes; the new format will be around 30 minutes, but I will try my best to post it more often -like once in 2 weeks. This episode is about the groovy and soulful Turkish Female Singers from the '70s.

Even though most of our modern songs and albums suck, Turkish music was awesome in 1960s and 1970s. The rock pieces that have been made are still being listened by a lot of people. There's a channel called 'Anatolian Rock Revival Project' you might wanna check them out, they have awesome pieces of old Turkish rock

@@artivism4068 Germans needed manpower for their factories aftermath of the post-WWII rebuilding and we happened to have lots of villages without work apart from agriculture. Initially they were supposed to go there, learn the discipline of the job and the way factories worked then return to homeland with the goal of establishing a more capable industry. But they stayed.
@phantom3591
@phantom3591 4 года назад
Ahmet Cosar Germany and Turkey made an agreement, so that turkish citizens could easily apply for work, especially in factories and construction companies. Initially germans wanted them to only stay till the „work is done“, but in the meantime, people, naturally, took their families with them, their children went to school in germany and grew up there, so they became a part of germany. Germans wanted turkish (and greek and italian people also) people to work and rebuilt germany but they didn‘t wanted them to be a part of the society. They treated (and are treating) these minorities very racist, the second and third generations are still struggling with the racism there.

This is such an ill vibe! This channel is proof that no matter where youre from, if you create something with passion, and in this case its music, it speaks to the souls of others. Thats love. It doesnt matter if you dont even understand the language in the song, the soul recognizes the good shit because it comes from the heart. Look how beautiful this is. We're from all different walks of life, but we're sitting here enjoying this good worldly music connecting us. We're one people. One love. May peace be with you all.

I want to be cool; to know everything I can from as many different sources as possible. With little thought I added your Chanel to my playlist. You know, the music of your lands are as exotic and as mysterious as I imagine an infant of yours would feel about what comes out of my radio. We are all infants at heart. I know, this is a long story but with a refreshing conclusion. I’m clearing up this dive I live in at 10:50 PM in LA. At first I didn’t notice what was playing on my stereo from my RU-vid “liked” list. It was so beautiful, so calming and in some way universal for I know not the meaning of the words, but I could feel them. My point: You know how a community gets together during a natural catastrophe, like an earthquake, or monsoon, or the panic over this novel caronavirus? We are pack animals. People will follow a man or woman who has staunch belief in their hearts. They are chosen for those under failing belief in the ultimate power in love of their creator. Those are the leaders we need. We know one thing, we are all basically the same with the same hopes and desires for our children and planet. Over the past 4 year or so, learning the truth about evil acts fine in my name and my money is abhorrent betrayal... because every miserable lie seems to be pouring off the White House’s roof. It really began with Chelsea Manning releasing classified info to Wikileaks. Which exposed the brutality of a despicable military industrial complex fear by a long list of US leaders. My shame will not be fed by insctiononce Trump goes back to the nothingness from were he came. It’s natural to love your country, She is our mother. She gives and gives her breast milk with unconditionally love. America must stay out of other country’s business and show the respect that is due all living creatures. Imagine what we could do together, and we must come to one mind united in the quest for a healthy planet rather than cussing at the sky, we shall gather together in song and dance. I realize this is an odd platform for this soliloquy but this is where your music took me. I pray for peace and a greater understanding of our destiny in the vision of God’s eyes. It matters not whose God is whose. I love yours as I love mine. They are one and the same. Bravo for great work from this collaboration between you and the artists you so wisely chose. I think I will play it over again. :) .
