CC Deville Guitar Solo & Fallen Angel, Poison, Hersheypark Stadium Hershey, PA; July 12th, 2022; The Stadium Tour with Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Joan Jett
Bret brings it every time. I know one day decades from now he will depart this life on stage and I think that would be what he would want Nothing holds his enthusiasm down. Not his health nothing and I love him for it.
@@sodica81 Aweful? The first half was Randy Rhoads from some of his live solo's the back end was part of Eruption.. so guess you're saying Randy and Eddie was awful, cause he played them correctly.
@@sodica81 Doesn't make sense he's playing those licks correctly which are Randy and Eddies and you're still saying this solo was awful.. He was paying homage to those two greats, nothing awful about it. I thought it was classy. And doesn't matter he's still on stage here playing to like 40-70 thousand fans on this tour every show and we're not.. So there you go
Don't talk shit if you haven't seen CC live! Dude is straight up gangster on a guitar. He literally played eruption in front of my eyes 1 handed while waving to the crowd
For all that speed, he still can't put together a cohesive guitar solo. This is an improvement on his infamously-bad 1991 "Guitar Solo" from the live album but that's not much to shout about. Richie Kotzen on his worst day can still play circles around CC at his best.
Poison I've never cared for but make NO mistake about it they are absolutely on fire in 2022 and in my opinion this live showcase is Poison's best tour of all time
Now that's what I call giving the people what they want. I saw Poison back in 1987 with RATT and they blew RATT out of the building. They are so damn good live. All of the guys. They work their asses off and they bring such high energy and good time rock and roll attitude to their live shows. C.C. never got his due but he is totally among the great guitarists from the 1980s. And now, IMHO they are doing the same on this tour. If this tour was a daily battle of the bands Poison would be undefeated. Motley Crue wouldn't hardly ever get a vote. Def Leppard is good. They try hard and they're polished and professional but Poison is phenomenal. They've lost about nothing in 30 years.
Saw them last night in Cleveland with MC 2022 Stadium Tour. IMO- Poison really stood out and gave a fantastic performance! Would see them again for sure!
My wife, Bari, and I saw Poison at least 15 times, along Cinderella: Slaughter: Warrant :Winger : Great White: Nelson :Quiet Riot: LA Guns : Faster Pussy 🐈 cat and others. Def Leppard on a different location. It was a dream. Now I'm with Jesus but the memories are incredible. Jesus loves them ,too.
That's because Brett unlike most singers of this era, understand you have to sing in a range best for your vocal capability. Brett does this very well, and when you listen to all the singers of this era, with the exception of say Mark Slaughter, All sound horrible compared to how they used to, like Axl, Vince Neil, Steven Pearcy, Tom Keiffer, Bon Jovi, etc... I give Brett a lot of credit for knowing what to do and not do as a singer. He could teach many singers of his era a thing or two.
This is one of the best live performances I've ever seen do together! Have to hand it to all of them , after all they've been through ,and keeping together, and yet looking this good still ,Hats off ,to all of them! C.C.' s solo sounded like Randy Rhoads ! Rikki is such an awesome drummer too, always has been too ,and they're all great ,like a fine wine !!
God bless these guys. They're fantastic all these years later. A testament to their talents and professionalism. My favorite band since their inception.
With Poison, you are hearing exactly what's being played on that stage. Seems the bands that like to bag on them can't say the same thing. Much respect!
Meet them backstage in 87! They were so cool! Hadn't really been a fan but became one in that moment! Got CC's parents autographs! He couldn't believe I asked!
I love it they are playing close to their original home in their home state and the boys are all together like they were in the early days i love this so much you guys are great! Love ya Brett, Cc, Ricky, Bobby! Bobby is looking great too he looks like he did in the early years!
Glad to hear this. I saw Poison in concert four years ago and swore to people around me that CC added Eruption to part of his solo … Honestly, CC is much better than he was ever given credit for and Poison is a much better live band than they’ve been given credit for in the past.
Never been a big Poison fan but they sound great on this tour. Glad C.C. is doing so good . We've lost too many of our rock soldiers over the last few years.
Massively underrated guitarist. One of only a few guitarists who can actually play his rhythm parts, while he's playing his solos, on most of Poison's catalogue.
@@jbzeigler CC was never underrated. He played like crap after he got hooked on drugs. Now that he's sober, he can play with the best shredders of the 80s. Hell, he'll tell you that drugs ruined his playing. He's been very open and honest about that.
@@jbzeigler After their disastrous MTV performance when a drugged out CC refused to play the planned song, he and Bret got into an actual fistfight and CC was definitely kicked out of the band.
Awesome Music Is Awesome n have always a huge fan for a lifetime to..always stay safe and well to...this band will always Rock to❤❤❤Loved this music 40 years and counting to..This band is the Best!!!
@@allanr6132 Has nothing to do with age! In the U.S. Classical Percussionists play standing up. In Europe most sit, unless it's Mallets or a Crash Cymbol situation.
As a drummer myself... I play in a cover band on a 4 piece (one mounted and one floor tom) with an extension pedal (for double bass) and can cover a lot of metal by drummers who had HUGE kits with tons of toms etc. and still do just fine. More drums does not necessarily mean better drummer
Just left the Milwaukee concert. Left a third of the way into motley crue. Motley crues live sound was awful and the performance stale and just shoved a camera up a pole dancers bum mostly. Poison killed it! I want to see them again. I cant believe I actually saw CC shred live and it was AWESOME!!! Definitely the highlight of the show and the best band in the tour
@@dr.bonscott3962 def Leppard gotto be one of the best bands - consummate professionals. They don't let themselves get out of shape from what I've seen they keep themselves so fit and tuned
CC is a very underrated guitarist. Not by his fans because they know how great he is, but by the rest of the music loving world. Everyone always mentions first the likes of Jimmy Page, EVH, Eric Clapton, Malmsteen, David Gilmour, and many others without even a thought about how incredible CC's playing really is. He is amazing as a guitarist ranks right up there with the best of them. I don't have to like poison's music to recognize the incredible musical ability contained within this group of 4 incredible musicians. I may not be a poison fan per say, but to deny the talent they possess as players, performers, recording artists and showmen would be incredibly closed minded and ignorant. They are without a doubt a great band!!!!!
OK just to followup on my comments I just posted .the second I pressed play to resume the video at 1.58 and had to stop it again on the 2.32 mark after hearing the solo was in fact EXACTLY the same as Rhoads solo 100% no doubt about it and there's also no doubt that his soloing has improved 1000% from his Poison days .it's obvious he has really stepped up his level of playin expediently .damn it brought back memories of Randy's undeniable greatness . CC blew me away and is indeed a top level player and should be praised for his continued aspirations to be a better player .90% of players from the 80s era are nowhere near as good now (30 plus years later) as they were in the past but in this case it's the opposite as he has improved drastically .got to give it up to him he's a awesome player and has remained very committed to his craft.
CC DeVille can really play I saw Cinderella and Poison back in 2006 at the Zoo Amphitheater in OKC had my binoculars on him he's a good guitarist no matter what anyone haters say about him
