he was drunk driving on may 31 and had his license revoked. brandnew music was open and transparent about it (they didn't want to try and cover it up). at first it was said that he was just going to get suspended from the group for a little bit but was later announced that youngmin left on his own. he didn't want to damage the group with the dui looming over ab6ix since DUIs are very criticized by netizens (rightfully so) and ab6ix are considered rookies so it would tarnish the name even more. he hasn't been a part of anything since the answer era (except for parts of the mv in the background)

@@YimJimenez26 he's currently enlisted in the military. i'm sure we'll see him back in the music industry when he gets out. i'm pretty sure he just left ab6ix not the whole company.
