I would have just posted the whole interview captioned but it was easier for me to render it with the captions in parts. I'm sorry. Please bear with me and forgive me for the fact that now you have to watch 3 different videos to see the whole video instead of just 1 long video. At 1:48 I messed up my caption of what I could hear Marlee say. :P So I fixed it with an annotation.
The audio actually cuts out at 2:52, which is just my own fault - my download off RU-vid is faulty. The original upload of the video on the jeffprobstTV has consistent audio there. :P I captioned what was said in the original video.

(Obviously I do know that some of the ASL unfortunately gets covered up by possibly my subtitles although I try to at least make them opaque so that you can partially see through them, but also the ASL gets cut off by the camera many times.)

This guy is an absolutely fantastic interpreter. I'm amazed by how fluidly he's able to sign and speak at the same time and what great chemistry they have!

Well work 28 years with someone and it probably becomes second nature to you ;) But I think they are fantastic together, too. What I feel is really unexpected is that she talkes this much orally. I have seen other interviews and I think she never felt comfortable to talk that much. Just a guess. If somebody know why that is tell me, please. :)

As I just found out jack is a coda (child of a deaf adult) so he grew up signing with his parents so that's one reason he is so fluent. But honestly he's just amazing. I love that he's been with Marlee since her start.

The reason why Marlee Matlin's interpreter Jack Jason. Is able to interpret and speak so well at the same it's for two reasons 1) Because is also has deaf parents so he's had to use sign language all his life. 2) he chose sign language as his career and he has been working with Marlee Matlin for over 32 years now and it's wonderful to see them how they work together they are best friends as well. ❤☺

at only 21years old you don't beat out the type of powerhouse actresses that marlee had done" marlee is the most alluring actresses in any era.

Thanks for uploading and making the closed captions. But one question, why didn't you use the youtube subtitles creator thing instead?

I made this video and I don't think there was nearly as great of a way to make Closed Captions directly created on RU-vid as an uploader. When i posted these all these years ago there was a way to upload an SRT file if you already knew how to create such a thing elsewhere but for me open captions seemed easier since I already knew how to create them.
