Hello Orhan, a consultation I am currently CCIE RS I have approximately 9 years in the field, and would like to obtain the CCDE do you think it is convenient that I get the CCDP first or go directly to the CCDE? and if the part of network programmability will come in the exam because this area is affecting the way we work today in ISPs and Enterprise networks, I am currently studying python, API, SDN, Network Controllers as NSO and would like to perform the Specialist exam in Network programmability, what do you recommend the CCDE take this into account too? Hi Raul Currently SDN , NFV, IOT , Cloud, OpenStack and other Evolving technologies are covered in the CCDE Blueprint and you will likely encounter in the CCDE Written exam. In the SP networks , automation and orchestration is key and day by day I see new technologies such as Segment Routing , NSO , WAE , other automation and network modeling tools to be deployed, as well as legacy techniques, applications and the services such as MPLS TE, MPLS VPNs, Core protocols , OSPF/IS-IS/BGP with new enhancements. I believe CCDE will cover the new mechanisms and it has been covering the old mechanisms, protocols which I mentioned above anyway.So, CCDE is good to learn the core protocols , technologies and the good CCDE training institute should cover new technologies and their usage in the SP and Enterprise networks, use cases and possible benefits for different types of businesses so on. I would highly recommend you to start CCDE as you said you have 9 years experience in Routing and Switching domain, automation , modeling , language and network programming knowledge will help in the CCDE exam as well in real life large scale network job opportunities.

Hello Orhan, thanks for valuable video, can you please make a video on how to study for CCDE exam. I have not taken CCNA , want to attempt directly CCDE. Is that possible, how many hours person should study a day?
