Thank you Moustapha!! Following your video I was able to set this up on a real router, switch, and 2 Cisco phones. That is so exciting. It worked just fine.
You cleared up a lot for me. I have been studying for about 8 months to take the CICD 210-060. I purchased a book and some tests from Ebay, but I am unable to purchase the hardware. Packet tracer helped me get my CCNA. I understand more now about the CME and how to set up the phones. I can now use this basic set up to configure more and troubleshoot. Thank you so much.
This is a wonderful video. Not only do I learn to configure CME, but learn/practice with DHCP pool configs, VLAN configs, sub-interface configs, router-on-a-stick configs, and more. Very, very good practice for me. Thank you Moustapha!
Maitre c'est la premiere fois ou j'assite le cour la téléphonie à traver les vlan sisco merci pour toute les cours que vous avez publier c'est tres interesant
Moustapha Fall you know i am from india yet i pray to God you go ahead in your carrer.. I LOVE YOUR Passion.. Go ahead.. Take care in this pandemic Era..
As I mentioned a few days ago, this is a very good video. There's lot's here for me to study, for a short video. Why create the sub interfaces? Does "router on stick" have to use sub interfaces?
Good explanation sir, how to configure 20 IP phones along with computers under 1 switch. Do we need to configure each manually or Dynamically it will take the IPs. Please advice.
DIADIEUFETEY!!!!! This amazing.... Thank you Mon Grand! One question though! I have a Cisco router and a Cisco switch. I managed to connect to them to the internet. How would I make my connection secure? Do I need private addresses and use NAT as my gateway? Merci Encore.
You can set up a zone based firewall on your router. Click on the link below to watch the video about zone based firewall. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tg0UEvPSLF8.html
Hi I have a question. I am setting up a large network with 1032 users and in total there will be 213 up phones. Can you suggest how to set up this large number of Ip phones ? I’m using Cisco packet tracer. Thanks
hello, I want to configure voIP, i have cisco 2800 series, cisco ESW 520 and cisco ip phone SPA 504G, and i have internet on Sophos 115 xg with DHCP enabled, can anybody please tell me how to interconnect all this stuffs to make it work?
Yes VTP works for voice vlan, because the Switch only knows that a Vlan X is a Voice Vlan through the interface configuration. What i mean is: The Switch(config-if)switchport voice VLAN X - command tells the switch to use VLAN X as the voice VLAN.
I changed the IP address of the server to 192.168.10.8 and configured the router to point to this server. But still my clock is showing the old value. How do I fix this? Appreciate your help

In that case you need to go with the Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM). This video is just to explain the basics concepts of a small voice over IP network.
