What would be better is a remake on the Unreal Engine. However they are focused on creating new content.

@@Sengial Of course I came here for Cyberpunk contents. I’m anticipated with the increase in playerbase rn. Watching all these vids kinda confirm that they want to move on sequel asap instead of working on 2nd expansion with red engine. I just hope they’ll consider adding optional 3rd person camera into the sequel. The mod works alright but the problem is the game doesn’t has separate animation sets for character and 1st person camera, just look at character’s shadow when you use weapons, it looks hilariously unpolished.

If people wouldn't be dicks, there wouldnt be the need to disable comments

they move on to the Cyberpunk Sequel after the DLC is finished. Them staying longer on CP2077 and doing more DLC with the old Red Engine would be a mistake and waste of time. The next game is on Unreal Engine 5 so it will be easier to develop.

@@damianszymanski5301 half backed? they spend 2 years doing updates and 1 more major update is in the works and also a HUGE expansion. Almost no other company does that.

@@Pilek01 no company also releases a game that doesn't even run on the consoles it was intended for. They had a huge lawsuit that made sure they would fix the game so they had no choice but to work on it. Doesn't matter how much time they spend on updates if the game still doesn't feel fully finished, they're finally updating the police system after 2 years of the game being out. That should've been fixed two years ago lol. It's a great game, all Im saying is that it could be fleshed out even more and that it's a shame for them to give up on it with only one dlc, especially since you can literally feel the heart that these devs put into making it. It was simply too ambitious for the amount of time they had worked on it and they failed to deliver on what was marketed

what the fuck are you talking about? Unreal Engine is one of the biggest game engines on the market, Epic won't cancel it's development lmao Fortnite runs on UE5 they won't kill their biggest engine and game lmao

What are you talking about? UE5 is a CORE product for Epic they will support this engine for years to come. Seriously, what the heck are you talking about?

it's unlikely to happen, as they get royalty fees from each and every game that is made with Unreal and earns above a certain amount. That'd be like killing your golden goose - It's a terrible idea with no upsides. It's a bad move in a sense that they've no longer got control over what aspects of engine they wanna develop, and have to work with whatever Epic cooks up for them, but it does mean that the engine is also more stable as a result of dedicated team of engineers at their disposal (that CDPR does not pay for)

@@k1z4cz3k there was a time when Renderware was the biggest engine on the market. Many games were made on it, for example Mafia 2. Then EA bought Renderware and killed its availability to third parties. Mafia 2 development was restarted from scratch and game came out 5 years later as a result. Someone like Tencent could buy Epic one day and similar scenario can easily replay.
