@@phi-losiphy2038 Um, I’m Black too. I’m sorry but what you said is actually stupid. Box braids and AAVE are Black culture. However I’m not pressed about it.
@@kammore6209 I know that but just because someone appropriated something from our culture doesn't mean they're acting black it means that they committing an act of cultural appropriation and need to be educated
Growing up in the late 90s and Early 2000s it's crazy looking back. At the time we felt empowered but it was a mental culture, lads magazines and appearance being over analysed and we just put up with it
"Of course the Britney Spears question!" 😂 She must have been frustrated by all those questions and she was right. I think it was so disrespectful from journalists and interviewers to bring up Britney's name is every fuc*ng interview. It was understandable initially due to Britney's impact but it became really annoying and boring then. What did they expect? Some shady comments I guess. On an unrelated note, she looked fantastic during this era, this is my favorite look of hers.
I miss this Xtina but reality is people grow up and mature and shes all grown up and a mother now.. I just wished she released more albums during her 20's.. Imagine if she immediately did a followup to stripped a year or two later, instead of taking a 4 year break until B2B.. She would have been MEGA SUPER STAR by now.. I mean shes still a superstar but she should have been on beyonce level popularity (I hate beyonce btw)
Yeah she is kind of lazy with her career. I think Beyoncé is overrated and she is mostly where she is at because of her work ethic. Same with Rihanna she dropped albums after albums.
I dont like beyonce either but she works her ass off and that pays off always. Xtina is indeed lazy with her career, but music might not be her top priority and I respect that :)
Yes Christina would've been bigger if she's been dropping albums yearly or at Least every 2 years during her career.. But I guess she got tired of it early on because remember during her debut Era she released 3 albums in 3 years 1998-2000.. She was touring in support of her debut album whilst simultaneously recording her Spanish and Christmas album.. She was overworked and overbooked.. That's why when she changed mamangemt she took times in between albums.. For her it's about quality not quantity.. I mean her albums are all special and different sounds from one another.. Spears albums are forgettable.. I mean I love the first 3 but thats about it
Beyoncé is irrelevant in South America and other places. She is overrated in USA. When she visited my country 11,000 people atended her concert, when Britney came 30,000 people went
I looooved her Stripped era/the music that came along with it but the "street" accent she puts on during her interviews of this time is so cringe and so many white/bubblegum artists do this as an annoying way to "rebel".
She wouldn't have done shit to Eminem, what she talking about? Acting like the people were expecting them to "throw punches," Eminem would've dragged her by her hair across the sahara and flog her It's laughably corny how she had an identity crisis during this time, suddenly started dressing and talking ghetto and making urban-like music, when everybody knows who she was a few years earlier, even getting called out by Pink for being a phony
Eminem was a closeted gay incel who went around picking on women and pop singers. It’s laughable and corny how you gay incel fanboys hype him up for fighting with women. ShE wOuLdN’T Do ShIt tO HiM, as if she didn’t destroy his ass in can’t hold us down and dissed him live on stage with Britney Spears. Grow a pair.
You obvisouly know nothing about Xtina. She never wanted to do pop music. She grew up listening to r&b and she always wanted to sing r&b. Pop was never her. It was the label forcing her.
That's what the media tried to say, that Christina and Eminem have met after he won the award and it was about to get violent but eventually it was a friendly conversation, he has apologized and they have both buried the hatchet, you still live in the past, get over it, they are cool now
