Thanks for your help! I took my air brake, combination vehicle, and general knowledge test for Tennessee yesterday and passed them all by just watching your videos! I would most definitely recommend your videos
Just passed with flying colors thanks to this channel! Got 100% on the general and 100% on the air break tests. Now on to studying for the 20 Question Combination Vehicle Test! Thank you very much for your time efforts and help. Subscribed and notifications are on! Thnx again Sir👌😎
I'm looking to get my CDL in October, going to Missouri with a friend to train through Prime and my god I gotta say there is so much to learn. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, lol. I have from now until I reach Missouri, than Prime's training is like 4 to 5 weeks before I get my CDL Permit. So I have time and I'm watching these videos frequently. So far I seem to have much of the GK down and now i'm working on the Breaks Section. Wish me good luck! :D
Hi Patato Fred. The course of action that I'm suggesting is first, get your MEC, aka DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate. Then, download the CDL manual for your state at drive.google.com/file/d/0B4ayFJQLMK-DeWltanNJUWU5aXc/view and if you can't find it there, look in the description for this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mSR1i_4stVg.htmlm37s Once you have the CDL manual for your state, check out Figure 1.2 or the "What Sections to Study" Chart in Section 1 (Introduction) of your state's CDL manual. You need to determine (in addition to the CDL General Knowledge exam) what class of CDL that you want and what endorsement exams (For example: Air Brakes) that you'll need to be taking. After that, I suggest you start studying the sections for your CDL General Knowledge exam. My videos are only supplementary study aides and are not intended to be a replacement for your own independent study of your state's CDL manual. With that being said, I suggest you start by watching all of the videos in the following playlist. CDL General Knowledge Series: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oRg5ppURjaI.html If your time is limited, then I suggest watching this playlist with fewer videos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J5o9ogeFKac.html Once you pass the written tests, you need to pass the vehicle inspection test, the skills (vehicle control) test, and the on-road driving test. To learn more about it, view my video, CDL Manual Study Section 1.1 Commercial Driver License Tests at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bkvnTklnVHY.html Finally, you'll need to pass the eye exam. Good luck to you. I hope you pass your test(s), and thanks for watching my videos.
Took and passed my CDL and Airbrake exams on my first day of class. This only shows that I'm a good test taker. There's a LOT more learning to do, and this video is a great compliment to those studies. Thank you!
I took the test today , I passed general knowledge , double and triples and failed lol the rest endorsements that took me two hours to finish, I almost won air break and combo, but failed because of some questions that was new to me and has to do with numbers and not common sense , study and deep memorization is key for success, I'll watch all your videos, this way I'll be ready for anything I face in the test. thanks Branton.
I listened to everyone of these videos I could find. did it for a month. Passed all 3. there is another test texas makes you take b4 you can take any otheres. I suggest you find that video also. These pratice test help alot.
I advise you check out : www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/?1dmy&urile=wcm:path:/dmv_content_en/dmv/pubs/cdl_htm/sec5 and refer to 5.1.6 Safety Valve and 5.2 One-Way Check Valve
This is really good! Helps a lot!! If you like to help beginners like me you could upload how to do inspections on the truck and trailer... That would help a lot as well I think.
Thanks, Edgardo, for your suggestion. I really appreciate it. In the meantime, please refer to Section 11 (Vehicle Inspections) at PDF Page 131 of 152 in the Federal CDL Manual at goo.gl/FfkAAp

Hi Jay. How are you? You keep watching my videos, and you'll pass. Watch this playlist for the general knowledge exam: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J5o9ogeFKac.html For air brakes, watch the following playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FEv7ZVWAYVo.html Then watch this video on state CDL manuals: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mSR1i_4stVg.html You are the master of your destiny. Journey with me. I will help you along the way.
When I took the CD General Knowledge Exam, do you know how many questions had a picture with it? Only one. It was the wide turning at an intersection question. That's it.
Barry is this good for 2020 Airbrakes?! Thx Jw. I passed my general knowledge today!! thank you so much for your support and your help! I have two more to go!!
There has been no new update. The next real change in how a CDL is obtained may go through on February 7, 2022, that is, if the FMCSA goes through with implementing the ELDT rule, as they hoped to do on February 7, 2020, but couldn't get their TPR (training provider registry) developed and up and running in time.
There's no way for me to answer that question because I don't know what you want to do with your Class B CDL. If I were you, I would consult Figure 1.1 and Figure 1.2 in your state's CDL manual. Videos in links that follow: Fig. 1.1: goo.gl/Y9sU1N Fig. 1.2: goo.gl/8SehNm

I am studying to take my CDL permit so that I am able to actually start classes and training. Is this accurate. I have watched so many video with CDL Professor .This is my first time getting a CDL. I just want to make sure before I study what you have put up...THank you!
Of course, it's accurate, but by no means should you rely solely on this content. That is why I recommend you study the CDL manual for your state. Take a look at this video to learn more: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mSR1i_4stVg.html
Thanks, Axle. Just do your best, and you should do fine. Please let us know how you do. Thanks for watching my videos, and congratulations on your decision to obtain your CDL. Good luck!

To receive this endorsement, applicants must pass a written test. The test consists of 25 multiple choice questions. Each question has three answer choices. To pass, the applicant must answer at least 20 questions correctly.
Hello, Barry I'm trying to get my CDL class B endorsements for air braking and general knowledge permit in Texas, is this the right video for me? Thank you
It depends. Look at Figure 1.2 in Section 1 of your CDL manual. For Class B CLP (Commercial Learner Permit) for School Bus with Air Brakes, you will need to pass the General Knowledge Exam for Class B, Air Brakes Endorsement Exam, the Passenger Endorsement Exam, and the School Bus Endorsement Exam. For Class B CLP (Commercial Learner Permit) for the Commercial City Bus, you will need to pass the General Knowledge Exam for Class B, Air Brakes Endorsement Exam, and the Passenger Endorsement Exam. You still have to take the Vehicle Inspection Test, the Basic Skills Controls Test, and the Road Test. These tests you do by showing or doing. No written tests there. See Section 1 of your CDL manual.
I can't say. It's just a study aide. I don't make any promises, but it can't hurt, and there are testimonials that I received from viewers who said they watched a few videos, went and took the test, and passed.
Compare your state's CDL manual with the Federal CDL Manual. They are virtually the same. The vast majority of states use the federal CDL manual as the template for their manual. What state are these questions good for? See the video at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kqKoJaNHaXw.html Check out the federal CDL manual at goo.gl/FfkAAp and see your state's CDL manual at (FL) www.flhsmv.gov/handbooks/EnglishCDLHandbook.pdf Also, see this video about state manuals at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mSR1i_4stVg.html Also, see the video description for links to your state's manual. Also, for CDL Air Brake Section 5 Study, see: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nWVya5YNnMY.html For more in depth study of air brakes, I recommend: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_5hlL_N_SE0.html
It applies to all states, per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) which is an agency in the United States Department of Transportation that regulates the trucking industry in the United States.

I hope that helps.
Depends on what you want to drive. I suggest starting with the General Knowledge exam: Check out my latest video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9cipOWfWOs8.html
Sure. However, not all buses have air brakes, for example, some school buses have hydraulic brakes instead of air brakes. Therefore, for the best results, consider studying Section 5 for Air Brakes at goo.gl/FfkAAp
Thanks, Lou. I really appreciate it. Thank you for watching my videos. Videos suggestion: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mSR1i_4stVg.html
A wig wag is a warning device for low air pressure found in air brake systems on large commercial trucks. This device drops a mechanical arm into view when the pressure in the system drops below the threshold of sufficient pressure to reliably deploy the brakes.
