I failed my Class A permit after studying a few NC CDL resources yesterday. Watched all 3 of the CDL Professor's videos about 3-4 times and was able to go back 24 hrs later and pass. I aced the combination and Air brakes section because of these videos!
2022 I passed the CDL Test . Thanks to this video and all the others . Brakes and Combo's in maybe 15 min's with 3 mistakes all together . General knowledge with only 2 mistakes maybe 15 min's. Thanks Allot . But might I add ; I wrote down every important point . And then rewrote it , so it looked better on paper. Read it and re'read it multiple time's , Listen to the video's on replay like it was my favorite song . Driving ,Cooking, Washing dishes , Taking a dump . While reading the lyrics I wrote . Did 3 0r 4 different types of Practice test because you never know how the Question's will be arranged on the actual test. Patiently read the questions don't panic. And you can pass this test and be on to the next step to your goal. Go early in the morning . I was the Very first person , I was standing at the door when they got there ; Listening to this doing practice test on my phone . Knowing I was going to blow this test away. And I did Sooooo'''HAPPY New Years MF'sssss( I passed it on the 29 Dec.) Douglas Ga.
Thank you so much for the videos my husband listened to them first and he told me about them passed my general knowledge and have been studying for the airbrakes, passenger I want class A and then the hazmat endorsement great instructor
If you google" illinois cdl study guide for taking permit test" he is reading the study guide word for word. You can listen to him and read along at the same time. Very helpful
Thank you for everything I passed my general knowledge yesterday now I just got my air brakes I almost passed that made it to 20th question and failed it I will be taking my air brakes next monday this guy is the real deal hear
Coupe of days ago I just read the book few days afterwards I took the test & failed. Just today I listened to this guy, I had the book near but I didn't look at it at all, went in and passed general knowledge and airbrakes (different video) with ease. " Very boring" yes it is ! But he hits on all the terminology on the test, so sit down watch all of it with no distractions, take notes if needed have book near by as well and you will pass it. Whatever it is you need to but just pay attention to this guy.

If I remember right it was around 40-50 multiple choice questions. I also had additional questions for my air brakes endorsement so expect more if your getting any endorsements on the CDL.... The test is very very similar to the online practice exams you can take for free. If you can pass the practice exams you should be good to go!
Just like a preflight inspection to make sure you catch problems while on the ground. You have to make sure things won't fall apart or engines freeze up.

This video is very good he does hit key points I was watching some truck drivers on video their driving automatic seems to be a trend that working...They love it depends on what you prefer gets the job done best teachers are truckers with experience..
well d = 1/2*a*t^2 not really double speed = 4 times brake time , 3 = 9 times , ...etc but close enough it is proportional to squaring the time as an approximation
Is it possible to buy these instruction videos and then take the test to show I've done the (class time) or do I have to go in and do the 40 hours there instead of watching at home?
