Welcome to my 2022 NOBO leg of the Continental Divide Trail!!
First, let’s review my one request for viewers: negativity, shaming, bullying etc will NOT be tolerated in the comments, towards me or anyone else, so if you can’t be kind, be quiet.
My 2021 CDT thru hike ended abruptly in Yellowstone, if you’re new here, you can learn more about that by checking out my 2021 CDT playlist. This year I’m NOBO and solo with every intention of reconnecting my footpath in Yellowstone and thus completing my thru hike of the CDT.
Subscribe now and follow along as I return to embrace the brutality of the beautiful CDT and maybe a few other extracurriculars I might be scheming. You can also find more of my trail updates on Instagram: @ms_rebecca_ann
For anyone interested in being a Trail Angel from afar and providing Trail Magic, any amount is ALWAYS appreciated, so if you’d like to buy me a cider in town or help with a resupply, my Venmo handle is @bergstromra
Thank you so much for watching and supporting, I hope these videos help inspire you to get outdoors and/or follow your passion. We’re only given one life and it’s meant to be lived, get out there and live it!

Impressive miles your doing!! Love the camp spot you wanted to stay at but moved on! That tiny cub was so cute!! Maybe momma bear didn't come across as cub may have had some issues crossing? Such nice views your showing us!! Thanks for taking us along!

You're a joy to watch on the trail. You hike circles around Newhamsha. She freaked out the other day, filming a black snake. I'm a new subscriber, watching you crank out the miles. Thanks for sharing.

The bear and her baby is what others never get to see. That was awesome for you. Pepperoni being moldy isn't as bad as your think. My first deer sausage I got from a friend had mold on it. I was thinking. Gee thanks. They said just knock it off and it's still good. I tried it. They were right and it's the best deer sausage I've ever had. I do understand the trepidation though. I don't do bread that way. ;-) 29 miles. Just screaming through.

It hurts my feelings when I find a perfect camp site but its too early to make camp. You are making good miles, stay safe.

The CDT has to be the most challenging of the triple crown. Another great video.

Pretty cool. I was just thinking at the beginning watching the video how familiar the area was and then I saw the sign at 5:05 mark. Love our first wilderness area in the US! Way go to Becca!

Love hiking virtually with you. We travel all over the country in our RV and never see the sights you visit. Knees are too worn out now to do this in person.

@1:13 "She is surely coming over here and she's gonna kick my ass!" LOL 😆 Right?! I tried to imagine that situation, and I honestly don't think I would of reacted as good as you. Glad you made it out safe! Thank you for bringing us along! Safe travels and one step at a time! 🚶‍♀️

I always have a coffee in the morning, so I hold my cold socks over the heat. Not trying to dry them out, just warming them up.

Is that the Gila?! Looks like its flowing real strong. OK, I recognize it, yes. Man, you are there on the Gila. So neat. It sure is a nice break after all the dry hiking one has done from Crazy Cook. The scenery just only gets better as you go up the Gila. Hope you enjoy it. Glory! Wow, those video shots of the cliffs are out a sight. -White Mexican

Pretty exciting having bear and cub come that close. Best be in possible to keep your feet dry with so many water Crossings. Almost 30 miles in incredibly beautiful countryside in one day that is so impressive. If you would like to hike and some incredibly huge trees come to Northern California and hike in the Redwood National Park be safe stay healthy

You need to get water slippers for crossing creeks then when done clip them to outside of pack.

The Gila is known for having hundreds of water crossings. There’s no way to stop at each one to change shoes. Normally, yes, but not on the Gila. Good tip tho!
